  While deregulation may bring competition, price gouging is a bedfellow of the phenomenon, measures must be put in place to mitigate its negative effects.

  Appropriate stakeholders should consider the layman point of view before considering any differences in fuel prices. We all know that , in Ghana there is no way there will be a better reduction in fuel prices apart from increments .therefore, appropriate bodies should take a critical look at this alarming issue before it escalates confusion all over the country .
