  that a facility is not nhis accredited does not mean it must shut down. if the licence of the in charge covers such a unit then the clinic can go on operating.not all operating hospitals or clinics in the country are affiliated to nhis. it is not the duty of the nhis to shut down anything. that mandate falls on the gma, GRNA, GRMA and others to reccomend such.

  NHIS has no power to close down any health facility. It is the facility regulatory authority that does this. May be there is more to this case. Even if there is any wrong doing agaist NHIS they can only reovke their credentia ...

  NHIS has no power to close down any health facility. It is the facility regulatory authority that does this. May be there is more to this case. Even if there is any wrong doing agaist NHIS they can only reovke their credential with them and not to order a close down of the facility.
