This is a country that cannot build Accra-Kumasi road for over 50 years of independence. You are now talking of demolishing houses. When will they be replaced for displaced residents? Common sanitation issues in the drainages cannot be solved, the culture of the people also stinks, throwing thrash everywhere including the drainages. People building structures anywhere on illegally acquired reserved lands sold by corrupt officials not thinking about the consequences. We have a big problem, Please God help us.

What a President of a nation normally do in the event of a natural disaster, is to take a familiarization tour to have a first hand expe on the extent of damage,if any,to offer his Condolences to families who have lost their loved ones,if any,to pledge the release of Taxpayers Funds to help the City Council (in our case)AMA to deal effectively with the situation,and also to help Businesses replenish their Stocks/inventories and those who lost their Buildings to make a headway,etc.
The responsibility to Fix the problem Solely rest/falls on the Mayor of the City,and these two Institutions: Buildings Inspectorate,and Dept of City/Town Roads- inspectorate Dept.
Therefore,for Nduom to asked President Mahama to Fix Accra floods is a Concerns Misdirected to the wrong person/Dept.
Again, what was the Emergency Preparedness of the Mayor of Accra, National Disaster Manage't, etc,since Ghana expected heavy rains in the months of May and June?.
Do the Accra Mayor monitors the City readiness,if any,in case of any eventuality,or host his counterpart from the world in expected rainy disasterous Season !
I wonder if even the inhabitants of the City and its environs,and the general public were alerted of the looming heavy rains,and warned to Stay indoors,if possible.Anyway.
