Now whilst I am relieved and finally at ease that you subsequently drifted back into your typical odious anti-Nkrumaist mindset with your statement that, "I dislike Nkrumah ...", I am also curious to know why or how you would willingly give a purported son of the man you have such a pathological hatred for, a shot at the Presidency? Have you thought about the possible consequences if he should ever become President? He might do what Blair, Bush and Obama did to Sadam Hussein and Ghaddafi, to you – he might stab you in the back. Never trust a politician – well, unless or except he is called the Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Secondly, correct me if I am wrong but, it seems to me that you cannot say that you ‘dislike’ Nkrumah. Was he once a friend who betrayed you or a rival, or something personal like that? At the level at which you have differences with Kwame Nkrumah, I think that for a man who has a ‘Dr’ appended to his name, perhaps you should express - at least publicly, the sentiments of those disagreements in a more tempered intellectual linguistic disposition such as, “I disagree” or even, “I dislike” (if you insist) the policies or the politics of Kwame Nkrumah. Likewise, I am sure that a whole Doctor like you will not like to be caught dead in a scuffle at Nkrumah Circle with a Sodom and Gomorrah truck pusher or a tro-tro mate over a traffic issue.

And by the way, if you think you can vouch for this new Nkrumah progeny on the simple basis of an accidental resemblance to the old man, i.e., “.. his DNA is in his face”, you may be rudely shocked. I myself I do not have a position on whether he is true or false but I am wary of the unimaginable extents to which our historical oppressors can go to further scuttle the Nkrumah legacy which understandably haunts them so much. And trust me, I am not paranoid about this.

All the imperialist concocted fairy tales and demonizing gimmicks about Nkrumah importing snow-ploughs for agric purposes, the dictatorship and killings nonsense, the kankam nyame occult, feeding of Ghanaians to his pet animals at the Flagstaff House zoo, his wanting to rule all of Africa at all costs, his stealing of state money and hundreds of other disinformation yarns, were fabricated by the same people who had themselves – by their own historical records, actually tyrannized Africans by employing such wicked means. Today, with the intent of vilifying Nkrumah, the one who had singularly tried to cut short their evil domination over us, so as to distract our attention from the only way which can gain us our legitimate freedom from their exploitation, they turn around to distort the vulnerable minds of the African people in a way which only children or the minds of retarded adults can imbibe.

And by the way, we miss you on Francis Kwarteng’s phenomenal series on Kwame Nkrumah. Other than his (Kwarteng) clarification for the extraordinary achievements and philosophies of Kwame Nkrumah, he himself shows a rare and unique example of a truly educated African by his mind-boggling plethora of references which make his arguments seem almost untouchable and sacrosanct. He is truly an Nkrumaist in the sense that, he is so learned and true to facts – scientific facts.

As I was saying, we need some adverse democratic intervention in our discussions on the subject – even if spiced with vile invectives from both sides, from time to time. No! I am not saying that we need a ‘whipping boy’ or a ‘guinea pig’ to bash to our sadistic glee. The point is that, much as I really do not think that your old-school and excuse me, but, admittedly, imperialistic notions about Dr. Kwame Nkrumah will take you anywhere, we can shape and continue to reshape our varied divergent views on the subject through contradictory opinions.

Your sudden disappearance into the wilderness – or was it a ‘tactical retreat’ into the safety of silence, itself raises a few questions about the fortitude, the substance and therefore the honesty of the raison d'être of the Danquah-Busia brigade of imperialist pimps.

And to clear the air about those butter and bread con artists in the NDC who make Nkrumaist pretensions which you have fallen prey to, take it from me that there is not one single Nkrumaist within the NDC. Its as grotesque as saying that the 1st Vice Chairman of the NPP, the most honorable Freddie Blay, is also an Nkrumaist. Does that make sense to you?

The NDC, in spite if its scurrilous pretensions to what they mistakenly assume to be Liberal democratic traditions, practices what seems to be the most scandalous type of crony-capitalism one can ever find on this earth. The political posture of the NDC is so bad that that they have succeeded in making the NPP - a self professed adherent of capitalism, rather look like a socialist party.

Surely kofi Ata, you should be able to distinguish the difference between opportunists and charlatans from the real deal. Nkrumaists are a rare breed and they normally tend to be staid, nonchalant and long-suffering serious people. Because of that, they dont easily associate with cheap entertainment road-shows or criminal gangs, all parading as political parties. Sorry to be so blunt and matter-of-fact but, lets admit that the truth sometimes hurts though it must be told.

Perhaps Onzy may find some consolation and stand a chance in gathering some menial support from the thoroughly debased stature of the current CPP which has become anything but what its Founder, the great Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, intended it to be.

In short, Dr SAS could not have meant to be strategic as you claim. What defines all assumed capitalists, or the more polite epithet which they now employ to conceal the shame of capitalism, neo-liberals, is that, they tend to be extremely naive - if not totally ignorant about the dynamics of social evolution and the complexities of political activity. The only rallying point of capitalists - oops sorry, I mean neoliberals, is money. Period! For them, everything else in society is organized in preference to making money - massive amounts of privately owned money for the material comfort of a few individuals.

My comment is that he stood no chance of being elected by the Ghanaians as president because they are more discerning than some of you may think.

Moreover, it is a fact in the current political environment that any candidate who stands for presidential election in Ghana on the ticket of the minor parties have no chance of success, even if CPP merges with PNC. Only a candidate of NDC and NPP can win the presidency in Ghana at the moment. These were the basis of my comment.

Your rather mature comment regarding Kwame Nkrumah's DNA is in his face makes a very immature observation. Is that your threshold for DNA paternity test? I only did General Science up to "O" Levels but I know that resemblance is not the same as DNA.

Has anyone seriously scrutinized his claims as being Nkrumah's child, at all? As private as his claims may be, it has a certain National implications that, I believe, give the Government the leverage to ascertain this guy's biological links to Nkrumah.

It is so bizarre that this guy only surfaced out of nowhere, after all these many years, to claim he is Nkrumah's son, and before people could even settle with that claim, he is now talking about becoming the Nation's President.

First off, Ghana is not a monarchy of some sorts, where our Presidency is supposed to be ascended by only children of past Presidents. Even though this guy's quest for the Presidency does not indicate a bona fide inheritance to the Presidency, the idea that because he may be the late President's child he should be considered for that office is insulting. Such is what I vehemently dislike about Akufo-Addo, too.

If this guy wants to be a President of Ghana, we should leave no stone unturned to find out every detail necessary to establish not only his Ghanaian Citizenship, which could probably be bought for cheap, now, but also and more importantly his claim of being Nkrumah's child.
This World is full of expert cons who would go to the ends of the Earth to swindle folks to get what they want. Ghana may look too easy to be had by such cons. But I would have a word of caution for them. Not every Ghanaian could be fooled all the time. They might have just succeeded to loot all our Gold, our Oil and Cocoa. But they will not succeed to steal who we are.
