This is a repetition of what Rawlings and his misguided, inexperienced "let the blood flow" chanting youth said years ago. They claimed that our older leaders had failed us, and they violently took over the country in the 80s and mismanaged it for 20years. The result was a Cuban-style communist dictatorship, economic mismanagement, Rawlings' chain" and abject poverty.
The revolutionaries, who were wearing tire sandals and condemned market women to death for petty profiteering, have now become billionaires and cut-throat capitalists enjoying power and money fraudulently. All through the period when Ghana was appropriately nicknamed "ojah krom", they perpetuated their rule through the gun, fear and electoral malpractices. But unfortunately, they are the same group overseeing the sinking of this country today and will do everything to rig the elections as usual to continue their mediocre rule, despite the fact that Ghanaians want them out.
Believe me; suggesting that the "youth" should take over the running of this country again will not fly because Ghanaians have seen the light.

The lecturer's ideas are from the stone age and requires the logical examination and query he espects from and of his students. If experience is the basis for governing then why hold elections in 4 or 5 year cycles and not every 20/25 year cycle? And when would replacement elected officials earn their requisite experience?
The thing that has allowed UK, France, Germany, Canada the USA and others to sustain their system of governments is the survival of independent, effective and efficient government institutions staffed with knowledgeable professionals who perform their oversight duties without favor. It is not power derived from contemptible and corrupting influences of office as members of parliament, government executive offices and of the judiciary they carry around. Would Ghana's judiciary not be adjudged the best institution of government if time at post/position amounted to a hill of beans? Since 1966 Ghana has not had legislators worth a damn and it shows in the moral decadence and bribery that has been normalized in Ghana. How could an Oxford educated Kufour defer to Biblical Adam and Eve era corruption if he did not think and know Ghana has gone to the dogs and relativity the measuring yardstick for modern day political standards?

Can't he advise sitting MPs if he become an ex MP? What trash is this lecturer spewing? We are told he, the MP was thief in high school days and was sacked leading his change of name from Lawrence to the current, but he has not come to refute the claim. What good did he bring to Parliament, is it the constant leading role of boycotts which gave the party a bad name or the recent poor decision to push elected Kwabena Adjapong and Afoko away illegaly? He sits for NDC to complete issues then come out with unwaranted press conferences to act like he is working.
