Go and see how Prez Mahama of Ghana has transformed Gonjaland with Ghana money just within the two and half years that he has been in power. Every town, village and hamlet in Gonjaland has received a facelift with new facilities such as roads, toilet facilities, markets, mosques, good quality water projects, electricity extension projects, etc. The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

Our experience with the quack neo-communists is that, they seize power unjustifiably through coups and counter coups, and Ghanaians only suffer dictatorship, tyranny, corruption and economic mismanagement under them. Being in power now for six years, the NDC has failed again to improve the economy simply because their fundamentals are wrong. In fact, they don't have what it takes to salvage the sinking economy.

Under normal circumstances, political parties are formed to produce leaders democratically. But in the case of NDC, a tyrant created the party with state power and resources to legitimize his illegitimate regime and cling to power fraudulently. NDC is therefore, an artificial and illegitimate party followed by stomach politicians and sycophants.

Mr. Martin Amidu is still alive and bears witness to the fact that Mahama wasn't democratically selected by his party by then and would not do so now. The truth is that, he imposed himself and asked the party to superficially endorse him as the sole candidate to lead the party. NDC has no democratic credentials.

The result was a communist dictatorship, economic mismanagement, Rawlings' chain" and abject poverty.

The revolutionaries, who were wearing tire sandals and condemned market women to death for petty profiteering, are now billionaires and cut-throat capitalists enjoying power and money fraudulently. Throughout the period when Ghana was appropriately nicknamed "ojah krom", they perpetuated their mediocre rule through the gun, fear and electoral malpractices. They are the same group overseeing the sinking of this country today and will do everything to rig the elections as usual to continue their mediocre rule, despite the fact that Ghanaians want them out.

Believe me; suggesting that the "youth" should take over the running of this country again will not fly because Ghanaians have seen the light, and now are yearning for a qualified, honest leader like Nana and the NPP team.

I am absolutely positive that if we were to have an Independent Statistics on our truly inflationary figures, other than the appointed COCAINDC CROOKS, the figures would have been completely insurmountable.

This is because, there had been mass laid-off of thousands of workers as a result of " Dumsor" and Businesses that have relocated elsewhere outside the country.

The real problem our country does face is that, the government DOES NOT have a proper cohesive Economic Policy rather than a "BORROW and HOPE"
which wouldn't help the Makola Trader let alone a whole government.

I could see some smiling expressions on their corruptive faces with the relieve that the European Union has finally decided to restore the Budget Aid to the country.

However, this should NOT be construed as a good Economic Management of the COCAINDC government, but as part of the reasons for the IMF BAILOUT.

There is no doubt in the Educated Ghanaian that the IMF had exerted pressures on the EUROPEAN UNION to free the Budget Assistance Programme based on the agreed programme in the first place. BUT NOT for the sake of the STRUGGLING AND THE AILING ECONOMY.

Quite disheartening that a small country like the GAMBIA with only an Export of a PEANUTS as their main Product is doing absolutely BETTER THAN GHANA.

BOTH ECONOMIC AND NATURAL DISASTERS GHANA IS FACING TODAY, IS AN ABSOLUTE SIGN FOR THE GOOD PEOPLE OF GHANA TO VOTE THEM OUT COME 2016.

Exactly. Inflation is actually INCREASING and not decreasing. It inched up by 0.1 percentage points. And that is an increase whether it is marginal or not.

"Dependency on giving that only appears to be charitable must end," he said in a tweet ahead of this weekend's African Union summit in South Africa.
The BBC's Robert Kiptoo in Kenya says it is not a government policy but a rallying cry for African leaders.
Aid is believed to account for 5-6% of Kenya's total income.
Mr Kenyatta said that foreign aid "often carries terms and conditions that preclude progress".
"It is time to give it up," he wrote.

Our correspondent notes that while Kenya does receive a lot of aid, it did survive for four years without foreign assistance after western countries suspended their aid in 1991, to express their anger with then President Daniel arap Moi.
The US, EU and the UK are the biggest donors to Kenya.
Since Mr Kenyatta came to power in 2013, he has had an uneasy relationship with the West.
He was accused by the International Criminal Court (ICC) of crimes against humanity for allegedly inciting post-election violence in 2008, in which more than 1,200 Kenyans were killed.
But the case was dropped last year after the prosecutor's office said it did have enough evidence to prove his criminal responsibility.
He and other leaders from the continent accused the ICC of bias against Africa.

The truth is that, he imposed himself and asked the party to superficially endorse him as the sole candidate to lead the party. NDC has no democratic credentials.
