Building on water ways is very expensive and Ghanaians can not afford such resources at this time.
Listen to the word of a leader .Full of wisdom and maturity. This is the type of leadership Ghana need not any clueless individual calling himself a President.
If I may asked, wasn't Kufuor in a leadership position years back? What did he do to help the situation.
Why won't he say that bcos he has also built on waterway
All Ghanaian politicians have failed.Fine.Moving forward, bring in the Isrealis,British or Americans .Pay them to do the job. After all they possess the knowledge and technology.Stop declaring state of mourning.Start declaring ...

Thinking technology at his advanced age to alter the course of water permanently whilst far younger leaders are talking and doing more demolition to allow the water to flow along its "natural" waterways, unregulated.

The stats prove that Kuffour was able to halt the flooding when he was in power. NDC have refused to plan. The Accra gutters are choked.
Listen to what Kuffour is saying,a very useful advice
And what did kuffour do about the floods in his tenure of office? kuffour, mahatma, Nanak Addo they all sound the same with their empty talk. Ghanaians need practical and concrete solutions and not the empty vague talk.
Why kufour didn't tackle the flood with that technology and knowledge on his term? Or he was president of Togo?
If proper drainage system and adequate levies are put in place.. I don't see any challenges behind tackling flooding..here we have goveremt and past government who has no idea of solving the nation's issue
We are still doing a lot of talking. I don't see any thing being done. Oh Ghana!
President Mahama recently said Kwame Nkrumah Circle will be tourists attraction. What is happening now. Ghanaians WAKE UP.
When incompetence rules and is glorified and again underpinned by lack of thinking and a focus on thievery, then you know you are on a very, very dangerous path of a failed state. That is what is being observed under that e d ...

In recent years, while the Accra plains had been lying unoccupied, past governments could have developed this large tract of land into a new capital city like Abuja in Nigeria.
For Oko Vanderpuje, there's nothing like technology; the solution is demolition, just as Hitler's solution to the Jewish problem in Europe was extermination! 6 million Jews were exterminated.
