These monies are paid to the contractors upon submission of claims. Unless the Dce connives with the mp, then its not possible to steal the mp common fund. Mr Pratt get some education.

I also think it is too early to do parliamentary primaries considering the fact that some mps will become disfunctional as incumbents if or when they know that between the time of the primaries and election he or she will not be at post. I think this kind of election must be held between 6 to 3 months before elections. This will help mps to focus to do their job better. Conducting such primaries long before election is not wise at all. There is no need to hurry for this elections it is not wise, there is no prudence in it.

Look, even among the returnees, many have mortgaged their future to get re-nominated, and are no better off than the colleagues who may not be coming back!
Besides, I believe enough controls exist to ferret out those predisposed to the financial 'shenanigans' you allude to.
On the question of "commitment" to the party`s 2016 campaign, I think much will depend on the attitude or posture of those who falsely believe that they now 'own' the party, and can do as they wish! These people would be well-advised to check the historical records and find out what happened to the likes of Messrs. Gbedemah and Joe Appiah, both of blessed memory.
And although the dynamics of this country`s politics have changed markedly, certain 'powerful' and latent forces still exist to bring complacent and arrogant politicians to their knees, if proper caution is not exercised! Where individuals with strong ties to certain constituencies[the native sons] are seen as having been sacrificed for the benefit of "outsiders", then 2016 would be a re-enactment of what we witnessed in 2008!
