  You deregulate when the situation on the ground is favorable in terms of standard of living, high employment rate and government cramping down on corruption. Even saved money from deregulation is going to be drained by the government through corruption. The governement keeps putting all the burden on the ordinary Ghanaians. where did they learn their finance and economics???????

  The government is shooting itself in the foot because it cannot maintain macroeconomic stability. The depreciation will shoot fuel prices up and hence inflation. Public workers will soon be militant including the general publ ...

  The government is shooting itself in the foot because it cannot maintain macroeconomic stability. The depreciation will shoot fuel prices up and hence inflation. Public workers will soon be militant including the general public. The timing is poor but the policy in itself is not bad. Let us wait and see.

  DOES GHANA SIMPLY HAVE TO RAISE THE PRICE OF A COMMODITY BECAUSE THE NATION IS CASH-STRAPPED?
