An investigation rumoured out that a senior employee at the ECG with ties to regulating supply flow has a beef with a Manet Court resident who snatched his girl friend from him and married. Targeting an area for any personal or political reasons to execute any public responsibility aimed at punishing residents is criminal and needs immediate attention. It is no secret that Manet Court residents have suffered the worst power turn off in the Accra Metropolitan area. The government must not exercise discrimination based upon personal reasons of unscrupulous employees.

Just imagine what took place at the NPP primaries: vote-buying, threats, impersonation, voting for dead persons, ballot box snatching etc! And this was a purely internal elections!!! Can people now see why, after losing miserably in the 2012 elections Nana Addo went tot the Supreme Court to request that 4.6m votes from his opponent's strongholds be annulled to enable him win? No morals, no conscience.
Electoral cheating is the worst form of corruption, yet Nana claims he is not corrupt. By the way, I hope people have not forgotten how in 2008 Kufuor allowed Airforce planes to distribute NANA'S election materials. This is how morally corrupt Nana is!!!

Sir John is providing evidence to the contrary, elsewhere another Nana Addo man, Nitiwul is asking for the change of the rules altogether. So the question to ask is what took place during the election of the NPP flag bearer? I guess the buying of voted was massive. We must challenge the Electoral Commission to follow on the complaints that Sir John and others are making regarding the NPP Parliamentary Primary Vote-Selling/Buying.
If we are to prove that our Elections are fair through-and-through, we should as well start from the very base of the process. If we allow corrupt activities to prevail at the Primaries, we should then concede that they could prevail at the General Elections and live with the consequences.
We cannot afford to be dragged through the Supreme Court protest, again and again. Beside the delay of implementing crucial national objectives and construction of various vital infrastructure that drive the Economy, we would be squandering State assets during such an event that could months to resolve. The prompt addressing of the crime at the Primaries would save us similar headache at the General Elections.
Sir John and the Head of the GACC have both publicly claimed knowledge of such a crime; and they are not alone in that regard. Dr. Richard Anane also has made similar claims but refuses to proceed to Court for redress for his personal benefit. Other incumbent MPs who lost their slots have also complained about the same crime of buying votes.
Why should the Electoral Commission do nothing about it? Why are our Law Enforcement Agencies silent and inactive about it? Is the Attorney-General quiet about it because she is afraid that some might charge her with Partisan assault on NPP, as she is a NDC-appointed Official?
This is how our Institutions get weakened to the core. The authorities pounce on the 'little person' among the Citizenry for minor crimes and heavily penalize him or her. But these Politicians who are frantically competing to have access to, and manage, our huge national assets are overlooked in any of their crimes en route to those lofty and widely national impactful positions.
Do we have any national integrity left?
