Ghana is full of "educated" illiterates. This kind of reporting makes me miss the Cameron Dodou & Co. days of reporting news.

As a kid growing up, reading news from the then "Daily Graphic" was an education in itself. It supplemented what we learned in the classrooms because those reporters could string words together which made grammatical sense. They put a lot of effort into making the news "NEWSWORTHY".
Although, the English language was not and still is not our first language, those reporters still made it fun for curious kids like me to enjoy learning it and it paid off big time for me in a lot of ways. Going to school and learning stuff back then was fun.

Reporters these days just make you scratch your head and go "huh?".

A reflection of the sad state of our educational system.
