You are repeating exactly what Rawlings and his "let the blood flow" misguided, inexperienced youth of this country said years ago. They claimed that our older leaders had failed and they took over the country in the 80s and mismanaged it for 20years. The result was a Cuban-style communist dictatorship, economic mismanagement, Rawlings' Chain" and abject poverty.

Those revolutionary youth who were wearing tire sandals and condemned market women to death for petty profiteering, are now billionaires enjoying power and money fraudulently. Throughout the period when Ghana was called "ojah krom", they perpetuated their rule through the gun and electoral malpractices. Unfortunately, they are the ones overseeing the sinking of this country today and they will do everything in their power to rig the elections and continue their mediocre rule, despite the fact that Ghanaians want them out.

Believe me; suggesting that the "youth" should take over the running of this country again will not fly.

my question is What really happend to our civilization? almost all the powerful and miracle that we heard in the Bibles are all perform by black people. in fact the whole stories in the Bibles are black stories. why do we lost touch with this reality? a little research has reveal that the Ancient Egyptian who really build the pyramids are black Egyptians. why do all this lost to the whole world?

Go and see how Prez Mahama of Ghana has transformed Gonjaland with Ghana money just within the two and half years that he has been in power. Every town, village and hamlet in Gonjaland has received a facelift with new facilities such as roads, toilet facilities, markets, mosques, good quality water projects, electricity extension projects, etc. The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

When the Mahama NDC gov't learns how to think, develop the competence to deliver, stop the crass thievery and have the intelligence to govern, Ghana will be on the right track.
Waking up and doing the right thing is to ensure that, the failed leadership and the failed governance of the John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't is massively fired at the ballot box in 2016.

Kwame Nkrumah once said that the political independence if not followed by economic independence, is meaningless. Fifty-eight years after gaining independence from Britain, Ghana is still dependent on foreign aid for over half of its budget. What went wrong? The government has to pursue hard fiscal policies that extricate the country from the IMF and similar organizations. The government should aggressive tax and collect them from the people, absent that, Ghanaians will forever be dependent on foreign governments to fund its economic development.

Organisation of thieves and rogues, all bent on fugitive political ambition , then to make fortures. Gangsters, who pride themselves of being smart against the population. Ghana deserves more than these electorates thieves. Ghana have the potentialities of good administrators, capable of handling positively well the administration of this country. But , when things fall apart, and comedians like Rawlings and Mahama , these stomach politicians elect themselves as presidents , then of course , a curse beholds this country. And in country where few understands real democratic values, only the wisdom of the likes of Madam Lokko can save us from drowning. Thank you Madam .

I could never agreed more with Eva Loko that Ghana over dependence on IMF,and other western financial institution digging the country more faster into more debt and would continue to hinder the true economic recovery progress of the nation. Ghana inflation rate is almost 18%,and annual GDP records deficits annually till date.President Mahama inherit lots of Ghana economic woes and should never blame for the calamity facing the nation. Ghana should look inwards than outwards by reaching out to fellow African countries for financial bailout. The western financial is nothing but a modern slavery when looking into its condition for the loan given. Iam a Nigerian and feel very distress the financial,and Economic situation Ghana is facing.Nigeria financial stress directly link to corruption, and mismanagement of leadership unlike Ghana where resources is limited,but the Government bombard herself with borrowing year in year out.For over 3 years i took my time to study the trend of Ghana economy and arrived to one one possible solution which is total ban on
importation food items like chicken, Rice, can tomatoes and embark on aggressive Agriculture farming for the next ten years.The oil exploration only benefits its foreign company as quantity barrel producing per day too small,and with global plunge price of oil globally worsen everything.
