Ghanaian society shd not put all the blame on WAEC,we shd accept part of the blame.How many have questioned the scoring marks of both the BECE & SHS?Why are students scoring easy marks,eleven ones and 8 A's.Was it so during the O & A Levels era?Are the current generation intelligent than the old generation?Why the sudden change in the scores for assessment from WAEC?I know prominent people who had Grade Two in O Level in the 80s who're doing well yet there are students with 10 ones in BECE who are almost illiterates.

This leakages has been going on for years but we always turn a blind eye to it. It just so happened that this time around the scale is so massive those who perpetrated it feel cheated that the student who didn't pay them have also benefitted. that is why the exams have been cancelled. Otherwise it would have been business as usual.

They forget that one day a doctor who cheated his/her way through education could be performing surgical operations on them.

Students are going to have to spend an extra 10 days in School especially boarders and Heads of these schools will demand extra boarding fees in addition to the exorbitant monies they have already taken. The Ministry of Education must therefore come out immediately to debar these schools from demanding extra fees, otherwise they should reimburse the monies. Parents must not bear the cost of the responsibility of WAEC. Accepting responsibility is not enough.

Currently, even though ACCA rents WAEC facilities for their exam, strict and high quality supervisions and invigilation are done by the British Council personnel. University graduates in WAEC have succeeded in disgracing Ghana internationally. What a shame.

Exam paper leakages are not the only evil things WAEC officials can do. In fact, they could even swap results at their main computer room. For instance, if a hard working student from a village school scores grade 1 in say English and another student from Accra scores grade 6 in the same subject, WAEC officials in most occasions could collect money from such Accra student and swap their poor grade with that of the hardworking village student.
It will interest you to note that WAEC officials who are supervising all these rots are university graduates.

Every corner of the society is corrupt! No one gets punished for wrongdoing. No society can be sustained in such corruption. We must be very careful, because the cost to restore trust in the system could be enormous!!!

its good that waec accepted the leakages of some exam papers, now this is the time the waec body must sit and investigate about the leakage if papers and must be firm in any decision that they will take.

It is the responsibility of WAEC to ensure that the papers are safe. They cannot punish anybody when they have failed to do their work. I support parents to go to court to seek remedy in this matter.

A class action will be taken to stop this stupidity. When take responsibility you must pay for it not the students. Ghanaian citizens are too weak to put our leaders in order. We have to resit the ft year. It had a negative impact on my life. I was in a boarding school in Kumasi. When the exams was cancelled I have to be sleeping in living rooms in Kumasi for a year to resit the exams the ff year. Though I got one but with aggregate 21. I suffered to get a sixth form school
