You are repeating exactly what Rawlings and his "let the blood flow" misguided, inexperienced youth of this country said years ago. They claimed that our older leaders had failed and they took over the country in the 80s and mismanaged it for 20years. The result was a Cuban-style communist dictatorship, economic mismanagement, Rawlings' Chain" and abject poverty.

Those revolutionary youth who were wearing tire sandals and condemned market women to death for petty profiteering, are now billionaires enjoying power and money fraudulently. Throughout the period when Ghana was called "ojah krom", they perpetuated their rule through the gun and electoral malpractices. Unfortunately, they are the ones overseeing the sinking of this country today and they will do everything in their power to rig the elections and continue their mediocre rule, despite the fact that Ghanaians want them out.

Believe me; suggesting that the "youth" should take over the running of this country again will not fly.

Every town, village and hamlet in Gonjaland has received a facelift with new facilities such as roads, toilet facilities, markets, mosques, good quality water projects, electricity extension projects, etc. The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

If we cannot connect such disaster with the wrong choices we make as a nation such as refusing to build proper drains, littering our streets with plastic, building new roads etc, but believe this as punishment for protesting agains dumb political non-performance then we are really a backward country.

This sort of scapegoating is one of the reasons why Ghanaian leadership take the people for granted and such disasters will not end in Ghana. The flood and fire were caused by leadership failure by politicians, the Environmental Agency and other agencies, negligence by GOIL, the indiscipline and lawlessness of Ghanaians who built on water ways and disposed of rubbish and waste into drains and gutters indiscriminatory.

It had nothing whatsoever to do with any stupid god or spirit who is angry for some breach of traditions and customs because of the dumsor vigil. Those who make such irrational claim are not only getting mad with nonsense but also providing excuses for all the failures above but particularly, the politicians.

The logic behind experimentation is simple : if successful it is good, if not then the outcome may be worse than before.
When the great Bishop of Lighthouse Church delivered his speech before the national audience a few weeks ago he stressed upon "Wisdom" as a lacking and needed element in leadership and prayed for the nation for God's mercy over it. It is very evident that our leaders lack wisdom. Almost every decision by this administration is flawed with terrible mistakes and unreasonableness. Our conditions are exacerbating each day due to unwise decisions and administrative negligence. Driving down the Madina Adenta Highway one must not be adept in highway science to conclude that overhead walkways intended to help pedestrians at congested areas are placed miles away from needed targets. Going further ahead on the Peduase-Akwapim hills , a boulder of Rock torn from its hinge hangs directly over the highway, ready to fall and kill. Amidst this threatening environment is the presence of leadership hard to understand its quality or usefulness to the safety of the Ghanaian people.
We are now struggling to deal with hardships associated with the power outages - diseases, business closures, crime, hunger, fire outbreaks, deaths, filth, school class curtailments and closings and many more miserable conditions.
Is this the right time and environment to experiment on us over the deadliest disease ever recorded in history of mankind ? Are our leaders wise ? No explanation or justification will be enough to mitigate the seriousness of this flaw aimed negligently at destroying our peaceful livelihoods. Rumours fly all over in Ghana that the vaccine has already been administered on some people and a few report having fever and headache. If such rumours are true they would spell doom and sadness for this nation once considered free from Ebola amidst a cluster of West African nations ravaged by this deadly disease.

WHAT ON EARTH STRUCK THE MINDS OF OUR LEADERS TO SUBJECT THIS NATION TO THIS FATAL END OF A PEOPLE ?

THE PRESIDENT - THE MINISTER OF HEALTH - THE PARLIAMENT - THE COURTS WHICH COULD HAVE ISSUED ORDERS TO STOP THEM - THE ADVISERS TO ALL THESE SCUMBAGS ? WE ARE TIRED OF BEING SUBJECTED TO MISERY.

Instead of these corrupt and premitive chiefs to help and advise the people to accept the rule of law,cleaness by stopping these street traders and squatters trading on roads, on railway lines streets and on bridges, they are now blaming the NDC government and president Mahamah. Do you people expect the president to command rain to fall all the time to fill the hadro-electric power for everlasting supply of light. The NPP government under Kufuor including their president candidate for 2016 left office in 2008 leaving all roads,streets,fly-overs dusty and uncompleted until the NDC governments under the late president Attah-Mills and president John Mahamah completed thes projects. Not to mention the NPP government under Kufuor and Nana Addo sold Ghana Airways and Ghana telecommunications to Vodafone and shared the money even though their time in office was booming period when the got borrowed money from many countries such as China and Europe. You Ga chiefs should be proud of what NDC and Mahama government has made airport city comparable to any modern city.
