The world would have been spared the war in Iraq if Al Gore had won Presidency and not George W Bush. Bush's victory was secured with his father stacking the Supreme Court and his brother Jeb disallowing votes from mostly African Americans who voted for Al Gore using machines that punched a hole next to Al Gore's name but left a chard of paper because the machines did not work properly. He is the most immoral of all American politicians in what he did. Conservative Catholic politicians in American think the church should only talk about their ideology against abortion and marriage equality for gays and lesbians.

Number 1, George Herbert Walker Bush (aka Bush, Sr.) did not stack the Supreme Court. That court has 9 - and only 9 - seats, which are lifetime appointments. Only upon the retirement, death, or impeachment of a Supreme is there a vacancy on that bench. During Bush Sr's 4 years, two vacancies were available; in 1990 David Souter (since retired) was confirmed to the bench and in 1991 Clarence Thomas was confirmed (he is still sitting). That is hardly "stacking" the Court.

Number 2, G.H.W. Bush's (Bush Sr's) appointments were 10 and 9 years before the 2000 contest between his son George W. Bush (Bush Jr) and Al Gore. Are you suggesting that Bush Sr. appointed Souter and Thomas so that they could rule in favor of his son a decade after their appointments; that Bush Sr. somehow knew the 2000 contest would turn out the way it did? You're an idiot!

Number 3, Jeb Bush (former Governor of Florida and Bush Jr's brother) had nothing to do with disallowing votes during the infamous "hanging chads" episode. That decision was made by the Supreme Court of the United States. Jeb wanted the vote count to stop, but he didn't stop it - he had no constitutional authority to do such a thing.

Go ahead and criticize Jeb Bush if you want - even his own mother said there's already been enough Bushes in the White House and so he shouldn't stand - but if you're going to criticize, get your facts straight so you don't sound like such an ignorant clod.

It was the failure of the Romans to crush the followers of Christ which resulted in the fake religion called roman Catholic being formed to combat Christianity from within.
So the answer to your question is Christianity does not practice paganism but those who pretend to be Christians do practice it openly with things like Sungod/day and image worship

Pope Francis has identified the moral duty of all living on Earth today to act now to save the planet's environment for future humanity. All good ideas.

What he failed to mention is the problem of over-population and how we should act on that problem which is the root cause of human induced global warming. World population has more than tripled in my life time and every soul leaves a carbon footprint. Only China has a one child policy and that is working.

Clearly the time has arrived to address over-population with moral duty to practice family planning with contraception use, abortion for unwanted pregnancy with use of an abortion pill and endorsement of childless relationships including same sex married couples.

The Pope's plan for a better world is good but needs to deal with fresh thinking and reform to the rigid dogma of Catholicism and Islam which collectively are responsible for the unsustainable population explosion.
