In addition to privatizing ECG, there is the need to invest in generation especially solar generation to feed into the national grid during the day.

Ghanaians are going to enjoy like we people in abroad at long last, as by privatising ECG, more jobs will be created for our brothers back home to support the family, better than depending on we in abroad for support .

Something is wrong somewhere,how can we have floods killing innocent people during this rainy season and yet our dams are still dried up.Initially,the VRA told us that the water level in our dams are low that is why we have the wicked dumso.I am surprised that the water level is no longer the issue but has now come to financial problem.I believe the dumso is a deliberate action,a well calculated strategy for a political goal.This is exactly what happened in Nigeria where Boko Haram was allowed to terrorised the public until the very last days to the Presidential elections when President Goodluck marshalled soldiers to chase out Boko Haram from Nigeria.What is the logic in it?Thank you.

Would a private management team retain Ghanaians as frontline workers or exempt from existing laws so they could bring in foreign workers? Why must administrative incompetence at the ECG lead to privatization? Why does it take privatization to bring in new management that uses the very front line staff, streamline administrative staff, procedures and operations to bring efficiency? Hopefully this would not turn into another judgment debt saga when a new administration takes office then decides to review the process with an ultimate nullification of existing contract. We know the NDC is going to get a kickback; bribery and corruption are not yet dead in Ghana.
