AND SO GOES WITH DUBAI, QATAR, INDIA, PAKISTAN AND MANY OTHER COUNTRIES.

GHANA'S LEADERS ARE SIMPLY LAZY EASY MONEY GRABBERS, INCOMPETENT, VISIONLESS AND CLUELESS.

PUT ALL OF THOSE VIRTUES TOGETHER, AND YOU HAVE A POTENT RECIPE FOR DISASTER, AND THOSE ARE WHAT GHANAIANS ARE EXPERIENCING NOW - DISASTROUS SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP.

You are right,on HDI,Ghana is stuck there in the bottom rung with failed states.

The Rev Dr. is correct! You have expert Ghanaians living abroad but the government is too greedy or too proud to ask them to come home and take over the reins to help solve these problems. Instead, they empower people who lack the skills, knowledge and broad experience to handle the arduous task of nation building. As Sir Sam Jonah said in his recent address, some of the brightest students are chasing their dreams in foreign lands rather than try to realize them here in Ghana. You now have a situation where there is trial and error in developing solutions and the blind are leading the blind.

A good story must carry its major import in the lead paragraph. However when it is an interview one cannot go on till the fourth paragraph to give the attribution. I wonder if the story was edited.
