I know some idiots are going to talk about freedom of speech, press and any other freedom they can think off. But even the best democratic nations reserve certain issues to be discussed behind closed doors.
Calling each other out of their name, including the president, may be ideal for some nations because it’s cultural; calling elders out of their name has never been Ghanaian culture until idiots of the 1966 coup type sold us the delusional progress we now have. Politics of winners and losers can be fought via the display of wisdom of members of a political party through the collective logical and meritorious approach to solving problems facing the nation.
If spending tax payer money to appease some in society and buying voted from ill-informed voters made successful nations there would be no Canada, USA and other developed nations for us to look up to. We may want to be copy cats or experts at duplicating other nations but we cannot bleach our skins to make us out to be Europeans or Americans; we have a culture and wisdom that served our forefathers well. Selling out has not changed a thing but helped us look silly having heated swimming pools in Africa with the sun burning us into crisp bacon while we continue to look to hydro power and other sources except for solar energy. For example, Afoko and Kwabena Agepong's case cannot be dealt with in secrecy. Any action against them should be made public because everybody is anxious to know his decision. I know that most NPP members are furious and quite now and waiting to go to the ballot box and vote against Nana Addo unless Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong are forced to step aside. I do not think Nana Addo possesses the qualities of a leader to solve problems such as the one involving Afoko and Ayepong. Akufo-Addo should rather step aside.
