You can not sell or market a non performing govt . Lie and steal as much as you want ut the people of Ghana are sophisticated enough to determine the truth and not fall for propaganda lies. The facts speak for themselves , for example before NDC took over we had the rating of a an A- or AAB with a tendency to a A+ of AAA rating , today we are a C- heading for a D due to reckless borrowing , gross mismanagement and institutionalized corruption which has stopped all investments even from our own Akan dominated diaspora. The fact is our economy is in shambles and our rating in the toilet, not suprising as our leading is nothing but a toilet carrier's son like most of his pepeni appointees .This Boko harem fake ass govt has not even read the bible to notice that it says even the ''woe unto any nation which allows its slave to rule '' which means intoday's language that any nation that allows the incompetent to rule will most surely suffer. History has proven this , the Mayan civilization fell in a matter of months just because of a coup or uprising whereby the people killed their leaders and ate their brains thinking that the way to get compentence. Here in in Ghana we have the various Ewes and their coups supported by the pepeni murdering their masters like Atta Mills was . We have 2 major parties which both lack any form of ideology or ideologist , Kuffuor eliminated Prof Eduboahen and his Fant thinkers from his Legon days, NDc murdered Atta Mills the only true patriot ideologist the end result being there is no cohesive thinking except the various tribalism / envious anti Akan leanings of the northerners and the voltarians. Yes we shall bring them down by exposing them for what they really are . This hopeless fools deep down hope for an authoritarian dictatorship as it only in these systems of governance that soldiers and police directly control the affairs of governance at the expense of the people . Democracy or plurality of thought is considered a threat and atrocities against humanity their every thrill. The institutions of state are so weakened by the corruption that things are falling apart right in front of our eyes and we see disaster after disaster occurring.Dumsor, flooding, and bankruptcy around the corner and yet they still instead of resigning are hoping for another term. Ministers(Avoka)are so incompetent that one minister had his son go for army training as all they know is how to chop Ghana's money, none know how to make it.Kuffuor sold our gold field so the tens of billions that leave the country every year is not invested in the economy and this govt can not not create a law that will force them to keep the money here or tax them 90% of the profits as they do not know the wealth of the nation must belong to the people of the nation . Rather they fantasize of laws just to limit the freedoms of the people and cause more hardship. We Akans must remain steadfast and make sure we exit this nightmare of a mess called Ghana unified for the future our children as this can never be repaired or fixed

CP presented a claim that his Anwhiankwanta project was terminated.
The project was never terminated. CP just stopped work when Kufuor came to power.
When Kufuor left he presented a claim based on termination by Kufuor admininstration.
Mills , Mahama and the entire cabinet looked on and Betty Mould approved to pay 94m Euro ---$120m --500m Cedis just like that.
They never consulted the Road authorities. They never consulted Kufuor administration.
Corrupt Goodluck Jonathan is gone.
John Mahama the super corrupt thief is next.

Ghana should not adopt any proportional representation form of government. Instead, the MMDCEs should be elected on party lines so that more parties would be represented at local level.

The shooting has also reignited debate over gun-control laws in the US.
In the same interview, Mr Obama lamented the influence that anti-gun-control lobbyists have on the US Congress, and how they prevented the enactment of stronger gun control legislation after the mass killing of school children in Newtown, Connecticut in 2012.
"The grip of the NRA on Congress is extremely strong," he said.
"I will tell you, right after Sandy Hook, Newtown, when 20 six-year-olds are gunned down, and Congress literally does nothing - yes, that's the closest I came to feeling disgusted," he said. "I was pretty disgusted."

Although,I laud some modification in some areas of our democratic dispensation,I,totally disagree to the assertion that, the charge political atmosphere and marginalization is due to the winner -take-it-all political system. to begin with, the democracy, itself is the real culprit, in that, firstly ,it is overly costly -----it breeds division, cronyism, nepotism and it undermines it own concept in practice[people power never prevail].It is business as usual,it is all about which political party can pull resources to campaign and subtly influence to get the opportunity to rule, so as control and cut corners.so you see, money is expended and return-on-investment assuredly comes when power is given.it is competitive, hence, tension, propaganda, sabotage and what have you.Again, considering the fact that,we are multi-ethnic and diversely cultured people in one country, this whole thing of multi-parytism divides us further---we fall along tribal lines. To summon it up,Democracy is unhealthy for us. Secondly,we have weak institutions--dysfunctional one compared to the develöped-world.Culturely,mentally and socially,we have a problem to abide by rules. The very people, who have the authority to make the laws work, use their[ status] to influence and to break it,hence, the chaos that has engulf us.Also, because we have allowed [free-radicals]people without public work experience and integrity to take up ministerial and other high positions of our governance which should have been reserved for public sector workers with enviable track record. clearly ,reforms is needed,we need to tailor this western-style democracy to meet our socio-economical needs.A political opposition party must play its defined role by offering alternatives solutions to move us forward.

See what ex-Prez. Kuffour did and emulate his strategy for complete and comprehensive national development. Kuffour did all his best to eliminate tribalism from gov't; he started by inviting non-NPP members to his gov't. Dr. Paa Kwesi Ndum were all party of his gov't although the belonged to different parties.
Kuffour promised to continue all viable national develoment projects initiated by previous gov't to accelerate Ghana's economic progress. Rawlings and his NDC henchmen started telling lies and accusing him of corruption, nepotism etc., confusing and deceiving the masses. They stood on rooftops making all kinds of noise, esp. when Kuffour's son acquired bank loans to purchase a privately-own hotel complex. The NDC called for his head.
Now what do Ghanaians see? The kinds of corruption, lies, tribalism, nepotism, deceit, abuse of power, economic mismanagement and suffering and misery that Ghanaians are experiencing is unprecedented in the nation's history. The NDC has literally destroyed washed away, all the economic gains made by the previous gov't, under Kuffour, for reasons best known to them alone!
These are the reasons why the out-going US Ambassador is making such statements. He's lived in Ghana long enough to observe the ugly situation, which only retards national progress. It's funny! Had he made detail comments about the on-going situation, the NDC would have hurled insults at him. He's wise; his statement and advise carries lots of wisdom. People should open their ears and hear him well!

Blame the fucking bogus constitution written by Trokossi mafias for their brother and uncle Rawlings. The constitution as we have it is a shit document. We need to re-write another one for Ghana.
This is the most important idea but can Ghanaians buy that at all? I believe it was the Holy Spirit that reviewed that this this gentle man.
It's winner takes all in America too. I don't know what he's talking about. America has a federal system because it's a big country. We can develop like Singapore with the right people.
With the except of a few states that allocate the electoral votes on proportion of vote s each presidential candidates gets, the rest of the states are purely winner takes all. It the same on governorship, senatorial and cong ...

What exactly do you propose? USA has winner takes all. If one party wins the majority in the Senate and in the House, and that party's has its president at the White House, it's winner takes all. At the beginning of Obama's p ...

What about the US system? Is it not the same as Ghana's? What has he ever said anything about America's? The Ambassador should better advice his country to to do what he wants Ghana to do.

I find this comment absurd. The question is what do they practice here in the U.S. ? Winner take all. Why is he lecturing Ghana to revise winner take all. May be he should be telling that to the Americans.
Why is he interfering in Ghana's internal affairs. Ghana don't lecture the Americans what system they should adopt. Mind your f business and leave Ghanaians to sort their feature for themselves. Everywhere u put your mouth th ...
