BECE leaks because parents perceive only a few of the over 600 secondary schools in the country like PRESEc-legon, Abuakwa State College, Wesley Girls High School, Mfantsipim, Aburi Girls, St Roses to be good and worthy for their wards. Another reason is that they perceive that some schools cheat so they've gotta do something to level the playing field. With increasing population entrance to these few secondary schools (high schools) has become ever more competitive. Students contribute money to solve this problem. The money offered is so much that the entire examination process is compromised. The solution? Renovation and good management of existing schools, offering a fair exam and fair salaries.

What an insult! AMA has intentionally damaged their cars and property. The measures are to harsh. I don't support the harsh attitude of the govt.

There should be no compensation for illegal squatters who have created havoc to the legal dwellers of Accra killing innocent lives and destroying properties. People who are trying to play politics cannot see beyond their power hungry behaviour and power at any cost attitude. We have allowed indiscipline and chaos in Accra to grow and watched in apathy and we have allowed and witnessed the disaster of June 3. Now it is time to put our foot down and clear and stop the indiscipline not pay people off who have been indiciplined. No amount of threat from the squatters should change the actions of the Mayor and the President. Accra is more important than the rampaging criminals trying to protect their selfish and illegal interests. Where in the world are people paid compensation for obstructing rivers and flooding cities. I think AMA must be allowed to do its work. The sodom and Gomorrah slum is awful and full of criminals. The authorities must utilise the land immediately after demolition to prevent reoccupation.
