Why comparing something happen in Ghana to USA. Do you know the Motor Traffic laws of Ghana, and the USA? Stop these comparisons, and make good suggestions. I am suggesting that, rather pictures of the accidents, should be taken for exhibit, (if that is why the Cars or Trucks are there), to avoid congestion.

Free info to enhance his work and make him a hero amongst his piers but stupidity will not let him see beyond his nose.
Bureaucracy in the Ghanaian system is making scared to even talk about it his superiors will not implement it bcos credit will go to a junior officer

The police should release the vehicles within 24 hours after taking the accident reports with pictures to their owners or their insurance companies. Those without insurance should be sent to a special impound and after 5 days grace the pound should start charging GHC10.00 a day until they show evidence of insurance. After a month the vehicle should be auctioned off if not picked up. The commissioner in charge of vehicular accidents and 2 teachers in the police school should be sent abroad to learn how other countries handle accidents so as to train the Ghana police on how to handle accident reports and the vehicles involved. Police stations cannot be a dumping ground for accident vehicles.

This is why I suggest giving ticket fines for the owners/ drivers to go and pay in regards to reckless, no parking, overloading fences are committed, not forgetting putting in place tracking devices to help trace defaulters and get them arrested, with this I think few vehicles will be at the police stations depending on the magnitude of the offense committed.
