While I applaud this measures, were the dwellers given enough time to vacate? If not, are they getting assistant with accommodation? What about the many incomplete buildings that the government abandoned?

The dwellers are hard of hearing and wouldn't have vacated even if they were given years to vacate.

Why should they be compensated for settling on land that they did not buy, rent or pay Ground rates on?

Surely, if they decided to uproot themselves from their Home Towns to live in the Capital City, then they should be responsible for their own accommodation; buy land and build or rent, or lodge with extended families if allowed.

I believe there are vast green and arable Lands available in the regions where they originally came from and very resourceful too.
• Why should they be relocated to another part to create another SLUM?
Have you considered that: YOU CAN TAKE THE PEOPLE FROM THE SLUM BUT YOU CANNOT TAKE THE SLUM OUT OF THE PEOPLE?

Ghanaians, don't ever think Sodom and Gomorrah are not part of Accra, or for that matter Ghana.
Ghanaians are playing with God.
The killings, the ritual murders just to mention a few; are all before the Lord.
It is about time Ghanaians especially the men of God must stop preaching politics in their churches, and preach the word of God to these
souls. This is what God is seeking from us.
Ghana needs to seek the face of the Lord. 2Chronicles 7:14.

You need to continue unabatedly to implement all the Bye laws of AMA in the good interest of our nation. No wonder you were elected as the best mayor.

Ghana needs to move away from the primitive way of doing things politically. We do not live in a Ghanaian village world where every villager build without any town planning policy.

For how long shall we live like that and support whatever is wrong simply because one fails to see the good things from the opponent.

If properly rehabilitated, developed and maintained, the Korle Lagoon could transform Central Accra into a picturesque marvel and a magnet for tourism,business, entertainment and leisure.
