  Patriot I second your view 100%. CHRAJ should tell me how it going to save those squatters should there be any fire outbreak in that crowded, filthy and inaccessible conditions?

  That is the situation CHRAJ should be worried about. This excersice should serve as a lesson to all those who think they can flock to Accra or any city in the country per say and squat or create any of such conditions.
  We as Ghanaias need to wake up and create a descent society that abides by the laws of the law.

  There are instances when I stop to ask myself does the intellectual in Africa still believe that the continent is still a jungle ruled by not beings, but by monkeys. What the Commissioner for Human Rights and Administrative Justice said is ridiculous. We are adding that it is the duty of the CHRAJ to protect the most dearest possession of the people of Ghana, which is life. Thus what comes first is the protecting the life of Ghanaians. A person who is dead does not have the right to shelter, thus is CHRAJ saying that hooligans in society should put the life of citizens in danger because after all the dead does not matter. It is a fact that the international conventions and recommendations on human rights that the Commissioner quoted does not allow another person to gain and make profit with the life of another person. when a court rules that a structure should not be at where it is the one who put up the structure with his money after buying it again with money from a person who the court said had not the authority to sell the land is not compensated by the state. It look like in a country like Ghana our institutions rather than protecting the right of people who respect the laws and law enforcement agencies turn round to protect those who make it a policy of breaking laws, rules and regulations. The people of old Fadama were resettled at New Fadama which lies between Darkuman and Abeka, at a point there were only few clay houses in Abeka itself. I happen to come to Accra on 15th September, 1965, lived in Accra New Town, thus know a little bit about the physical development and spread of the town Accra. When we speak of Agbogbloshie the only settlements remaining still are those houses around the Accra Brewery. The other question is how can CHRAJ be sure that if the hooligans living in Old Fadama will not return to the place after receiving compensation, then go there to settle to wait for another compensation in two years time. It is a fact that those who live on the N1 Motorway have been through skimming received compensation on their properties more than three times, I mean they have been compensated for the same property by the state three times, and are waiting for another development to receive the forth one. It is interesting that CHRAJ does not recognize the right of people to safe accommodation, environment, health without infectious diseases which have taken the dearest possession of some Ghanaians, being it as a result of criminal acts of people which unfortunately it is trying hard to protect. The former President of the Pan African Congress of South Africa said that one can not stand in between order and disorder, you must take a position. CHRAJ has thus taken the position of disorder. It is a fact that some public servants make it a duty not to protect and defend Ghana and her people, but to please someone who he admitted as his doll master elsewhere.
