  The worst of all lies is the lie mixed with the truth, and living that lie. You and I can never fool God for even a fraction of a second. He reads each one of us like an open book. It is His infinite love for us in Christ that He is calling us from the sinful lifestyle to a Christlike living of holiness. Let's not allow anything to come between us and His call--not even family, friends, household gods, or the religious gods we have come to know.
  
  "And I saw another angel (God's people) fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."
  Revelation 14:6-7.
  
  This call to true worship going on now comes at the time of the one and only investigative judgment. It is different from the executive judgment which takes place in the second resurrection-- the hell fire (Revelation 20:6). The last warning to leave idol worship "and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters" is now. When we pay heed to the warnings, and we repent of our sins, God also honors us with His forgiveness and peace.

  "There is therefore now no condemnation(no guilty charge) to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

  "Therefore being justified (declared righteous) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
  
  God keeps a faithful record of our deeds. These records are as transparently true as His own character, and it is by our deeds He will judge us. None needs to be there in heaven while the investigation of the records of the dead is going on.
  
  The investigation of the records of the works of the living is yet future. It will take place shortly after Christ's work as the High Priest is finished, and He is ready to come and resurrect his faithful to heaven (first resurrection--1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
  
  "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."
