  A true and lasting change must always start from within to without; it is not an action of conforming to legal imperatives for a fast (such as the Five Pillars of Islam) or any man-made ritual by which one can experience optimism and deprivation as this article tends to purport. Case in point is the story about the Prodigal Son in Luke 15. When the young son demanded his share of his father's estate, the father could have referred the son to some legal imperatives, or the norms of society of the family religion, but the father knew better. Only his love will change his son's heart one day.
  It is grace which changes hearts; not the law.

  The worst of all lies is the lie mixed with the truth, and living that lie until it becomes a formed habit. You and I can never fool God for even a fraction of a second. He reads each one of us like an open book. It is because of His infinite love for us that He (God) came to our world in the person of His Son, Christ to call us from the sinful lifestyle to a Christlike living of holiness. Let's not allow anything to come between us and His call--not even family, friends, household gods, or the religious gods we have come to know, or the sophistries of so called holy books and prophets.

  This call to true worship going on now comes at the time of the one and only investigative judgment. It is different from the executive judgment which takes place in the second resurrection-- the hell fire (Revelation 20:6). The last warning to leave idol worship "and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters" is now. When we pay heed to the warnings, and we repent of our sins, God also honors us with His forgiveness and peace.

  "According to medical sources and Kobane residents, 120 civilians were executed by IS in their homes or killed by the group's rockets or snipers," said Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
  
  He described it as one of the group's "worst massacres" in Syria.
  
  Another 26 civilians were executed by IS on Thursday in a village near Kobane, on the border with Turkey, the Observatory said.
  
  "When they entered the town, the jihadists took up positions in buildings at the southeast and southwest entrances, firing at everything that moved," Abdel Rahman said.
  
  He said the bodies of civilians, among them women and children, were found in their homes and in the streets.
  
  "The jihadists knew that they could not stay and control the town in the face of the Kurdish forces. They came just to kill and strike a moral blow to the Kurds," Abdel Rahman said.
  
  Kurdish activist Arin Shekhmos said: "Every family in Kobane lost a family member on Thursday."
  
  IS launched a surprise attack on Kobane on Thursday involving three suicide bombers, just over a week after Kurdish militia ousted it from Tal Abyad, another border town further east.

  The Islamic State group killed 120 civilians in a 24-hour rampage through the Kurdish town of Kobane in what a monitor said Friday was one of the jihadists' "worst massacres" in Syria.
  
  The killing spree in the town, which has become a symbol of Kurdish resistance, was widely seen as vengeance for a series of defeats inflicted on the jihadists by Kurdish militia in recent weeks.
  
  It began after three IS suicide bombers blew up vehicles at the entrances to the town on Thursday clearing the way for fellow jihadists to enter.
  
  Women and children were among the slain civilians whose bodies were found in their homes and in the streets, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

  "IS doesn't want to take over the town. They just came to kill the highest number of civilians in the ugliest ways possible," he told AFP.
  
  The jihadist group also executed 26 civilians in a village outside Kobane on Thursday, the Observatory said.
  
  "Every family in Kobane lost a family member on Thursday," Kurdish activist Arin Shekhmos said.
  
  - 'Human shields' in Kobane -
  
  The jihadists had entered Kobane at dawn on Thursday disguised as fighters of the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG), said journalist Ali.
  
  They then took up positions in buildings in the south of the town, using civilians as "human shields," he said.
  
  "There are at least 70 civilians in these various neighbourhoods that have been taken hostage by IS," he added.

  "The YPG has sent reinforcements and have encircled the buildings, but the situation is difficult. The YPG doesn't want to hurt the women and children there."
  
  More than 1,000 fleeing civilians waited on the Syrian side of the frontier with Turkey on Friday, carefully watched by the Turkish troops and police on the other side.
  
  Relatives who had made it to the Turkish side waved their hands and cried in despair, an AFP photographer reported.
  
  Kobane was the scene of one of IS's most dramatic defeats in January when it was ousted by Kurdish militia backed by US-led air strikes after four months of heavy fighting.
  
  Kurdish fighters have gone on to seize Tal Abyad, another border town farther east, in a heavy blow to the jihadists' supply lines.
  
  - Civilians flee Hasakeh -
  
  IS has hit back with an offensive against the city of Hasakeh in the northeast, capital of the mainly Kurdish province of the same name.
  
  "Thousands of civilians have fled the two neighbourhoods taken by IS on Thursday," Abdel Rahman said.
  
  He said Syrian government forces were carrying out air strikes against jihadist positions in the city, where they share control with Kurdish forces.
  
  At least 20 jihadists and 30 pro-government fighters were killed when IS captured southern parts of the city.
  
  Shekhmos, the Kurdish activist, said civilians from those neighbourhoods had fled to the Kurdish-controlled parts of the city, but that the YPG had yet to get involved in the fighting.
  
  The jihadists previously advanced to the southern edge of Hasakeh in May but were pushed back by government forces.
  
  In southern Syria, a rebel alliance pressed an assault on the city of Daraa which it began on Thursday.
  
  Some 40 people have been killed in the fighting for the city, a provincial capital.
  
  President Bashar al-Assad's regime has already lost two provincial capitals in the four-year-old civil war: IS-held Raqa in the Euphrates valley and Idlib in the northwest, which is held by a rebel alliance including Al-Qaeda.
  
  At least 230,000 people have been killed since the conflict erupted in 2011.

  It’s about hating and killing those who do not believe in Islam, Mona Walter discovers when she studies the Quran. It’s about conquering. Mohammed was immoral, bloodthirsty and a terrible man, she concludes. Walter’s say Muslims transform into killing machines after reading the Quran.
  
  She’s seen the light. It’s called education resulting in wisdom.
  
  BN reporter Dale Hurd recently interviewed Mona Walter, an ex-Muslim living in Sweden, to learn about her spiritual journey. After she left Somalia for Scandinavia as a refugee, she read the Koran for the first time and discovered the truth of what Islam is about. Her search eventually led her to Christianity, but her mission is still with Islam, namely to tell Muslims what the Koran really says.
  
  A Real Introduction to Islam
  
  It was in Sweden that she first experienced radical Islam on a daily basis.
  
  “I discovered Islam first in Sweden. In Somalia, you’re just a Muslim, without knowing the Koran. But then you come to Sweden and you go to mosque and there is the Koran, so you have to cover yourself and you have to be a good Muslim.”
  
  Walter says she grew up in Somalia never having read the Koran.
  
  “I didn’t know what I was a part of. I didn’t know who Mohammed was. I didn’t know who Allah was. So, when I found out, I was upset. I was sad and I was disappointed,” she recalled.
  
  And it was in Sweden that Walters says she discovered Allah is a god who hates, and that Islam is not a religion of peace.
  
  “It’s about hating and killing those who disagree with Islam. It’s about conquering. Mohammed, he was immoral. He was a bloodthirsty man. He was terrible man, and Muslims can read that in his biography — what he did to Jews, how he raped women, how he killed people. I mean, he killed everyone who didn’t agree with him,” she explained.
  
  Discouraged, Walter left Islam and became an atheist, until one day a family member encouraged her to read the Bible. She still remembers the first time she read Matthew 5:44, where Jesus said to “love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
  
  Christianity, a New Perspective
  
  “It was very strange for me to ‘love your enemy,’ because in Islam it is ‘kill your enemy.’ ‘Kill your enemy and anyone who refuses Islam.’ But Jesus Christ was all about love and peace and forgiveness and tolerance, and for some reason, I needed that,” she said.
  
  She went to see Pastor Fouad Rasho of Angered Alliance Church, a Syrian immigrant who ministers to former Muslims in Sweden.
  
  “She started to believe and she came to me. And that was the beginning of her trusting,” he said.
  
  When she accepted Christ, Walter said she felt “so happy” and “filled with joy.”
  
  Walter says the Lord gave her a burden for Muslims who still do not know the truth about Islam. And she began to study the Koran, and began copying verses from the Koran and handing them out on the street to Muslim women.
  
  Rescuing Muslims with Truth
  
  “Sometimes they listen and sometimes they become very upset, and I tell them, ‘You know your husband has a right to beat you if you don’t obey him?’ And they say ‘No, It does not say that.’ ‘Yes, it does say that.’ I thought if I tell them about Muhammed and about the Koran and about this god of Islam who hates, who kills, who discriminates against women, maybe they will have a choice and leave,” she explained.
  
  But in politically correct Sweden, Walter has come under attack for simply repeating what is in the Koran.
  
  “I’ve been called an ‘Islamophobe,’ and yeah [they tell me], ‘You’ve been bought,’ ‘You’re a house nigger,’ and stuff like that, terrible things, ” she said.
  
  She has also been called a racist. Walter warns that Islamic radicalism is a serious threat in Sweden, and says Swedish society should care more about women trapped in Islam.
  
  “[Swedes] will think, ‘Oh, we’re in Sweden; we have freedom of religion,’ but Muslim women don’t have freedom of religion. They live under the law of Allah, not under Swedish law. So they will suppose everyone has freedom of religion. We don’t have freedom of religion. It’s not for Muslim women. It’s for everyone else,” Walter argued.
  
  Walter lives under death threats and sometimes travels with police protection. She wanted to show us Muslim areas around Gothenburg, but had to first dress as a Muslim. She believes if she were to show her face, she would be attacked.
  
  “I can never go to those areas just being me, flesh and blood Mona. I would never get out of there alive,” she said.
  
  “I mean, Muslims are normally good people like everyone else,” she continued. “But then when they read the Koran, then they become a killing machine.”
  
  “This so-called ISIS or el Shabab or Boko Haram, they’re not like extremists. They’re not fanatical. They’re just good Muslims, good Muslims who follow the teachings of Islam. The prophet Mohammed, he did that. They’re doing what he did,” she explained.
  
  Walter now uses videos and speaking appearances to spread her message. And she says she won’t stop, even though her life is in danger.
  
  Mona Walter is on a mission. Her mission is for more Muslims to know what is in the Koran. She says if more Muslims knew what was in the Koran, more would leave Islam.

  Beirut (AFP) - The Islamic State group on Thursday sold 42 Iraqi women it had abducted from the Yazidi religious minority to its fighters in eastern Syria, a monitor said.
  
  The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the women were being treated as "slaves" by the jihadists and were sold "for between $500 (447 euros) and $2,000 dollars (1,785 euros)".
  
  The women were kidnapped last year in the Sinjar region of northern Iraq where IS had launched a wide offensive, the Britain-based monitor said.
  
  Earlier this month they were brought to the IS-held town of Mayadeen in Syria's eastern Deir Ezzor province.
  
  "Some were abducted with their children but we do not know their fate," said Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman.
  
  The Yazidis, a religious minority which lives mainly in Iraq's Sinjar region, are neither Muslims nor Arabs and follow a unique faith. They are considered infidels by the jihadists.
  
  In 2014, the jihadists massacred Yazidis, forced tens of thousands of them to flee, captured thousands of girls and women as spoils of war and used them as sex slaves.

  The Bible does not allow homosexuality. Know that western governments are secular governments, they are not christian governments as you have Islamic governments. Homosexuals can not be executed like you do.

  It is not late for Muslims who are alive today to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Those who have not accepted Jesus Christ are judged. The Good News is that we accept the Grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. If you don't accept Jesus, there only one home for you, and that is hell fire. Mohammed did not accept Jesus Christ, and definetely, he is living in hell fire as his home. I am not judging him.

  Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him." Qur'an surah 3:84
  
  Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Musa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)." Qur'an 2:136
  
  In fact it is a condition for every Muslim to believe in God and all his prophets. Islam is not just about prophet Muhammad.
  
  The Quran is a totality of all the previous scriptures and laws of God. Most of the laws in Quran are just confirmation of the laws in the bible. But most of you do not read wide.
  
  Muslims believe in Jesus but not as God but the Christ and a messenger of God, just as Jesus himself said: "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent"John 17:3
  
  "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord" Mathew 12:29
  
  How could you be deceived? Read the quran from cover to cover and you will realise that Islam in arabic is submission to God(Allah in arabic) since Adam.
  
  Some of you even go to the extend of saying Allah does not refer to God of the past prophets. But never know the same Allah is used in the Arabic bible.

  YOU ARE ENTITLED TO YOUR OPINION. Every one to his opinion and God is the final judge. No need to argue about that. A lot of people do not even believe in none of what we both say. That is their opinion too.
