However, mass resignation will not solve the problem but rather place patients at risk. It seems ironical that doctors having taken the oath to save life are not threatening to abandon their oath. Threatening the nation with mass resignation is cheap because the doctors know that they will be private practice. The doctors do not have public support for their anticipated action because one life too important to sacrifice. If they go ahead and resign, those in govt houses just leave immediately. After all, most of these doctors' education was funded by tax payers.
