  Its a good idea for reducing the inmate in prisons in Ghana,but have you considered the victims feelings.?have you put in place any restorative measures to console the victims?As in community sentence to deter others not to think that they can get away when they offend.Ghana is dirty and weedy let them do something.let them volunteer at public places to clean,weed,sweep,dust ,grow flower and trees,paint,etc then this can be justice at least they have given back something.

  Justice for all, but have permanent structures at the various prisons, to help solve over crowded remand prisoners, the greedy police cids just dumps suspects there, more especially to either advanced on the victims wifes or after they have embezzled cash which are meant to be used as exhibit in such cases, GHANA police you are a shame.
