  The necessary measures shd be applied to serve as a deterrent. The owners must be punished and they must compensate all the injured adequately.

  The minister's action was well intentioned but he was wrong to order closure of the facility. It is not his place to do this. He should put pressure on appropriate authority / agent like Health & Safety unit to decide to clos ...

  The minister's action was well intentioned but he was wrong to order closure of the facility. It is not his place to do this. He should put pressure on appropriate authority / agent like Health & Safety unit to decide to close the site. Why is that African leaders think and behave as tin gods. They use power arbitrary. As ministers work to strengthen and empower institutions to work fairly and non-discriminative.

  The injured persons should SUE the owners of the Canopy for them to learn a lesson next time. It was their duty to make sure that supervision is accurate at the place. We take everything for granted in Ghana and kill innocent people. Because in Ghana many people don't know their right and think that they are poor so they can't fight for their right. This is ridiculous and has to deal with immediately.

  If I OWN THIS FACILITY, I WILL FIRE THIS SITE MANAGER BECAUSE OF THE STATEMENT ABOVE. He doesn't seem to understand the damage caused. He has not realized that he and his owners have betrayed the confidence people had in them to keep them safe while using the canopy. What he needs to do is to apologize to the public for their mistake and assure them that it will not happen again. He can then tell the public what safety measures they are going to put in place to make the facility safe. Not this nonsense of working around the clock to fix the canopy. IT IS NOT ELECTRICITY OR WATER SUPPLY. YOU NEED TO WIN BACK THE CONFIDENCE OF THOSE WHO PATRONIZE IT, AND I DON'T SEE ANY ATTEMPT HERE GEARED TOWARDS THAT.
