This minister is just an apology of an interior minister. Mahama should ask him to keep quiet because of the sensitive position he occupies. Is he justifying vigilante groups? What will he now say as interior minister if the mob attack, maim and kill suspected criminals? Vigilante groups now to do the work of the police and the military? This is how many civil wars in Africa starts-when high powered riffles get into wrong hands. Those who lack enough education and common sense are manipulated by politicians.
Sorry to say this but unfortunately politicians are using Northners to kill each other. How many houses that were burnt, vehicles that were destroyed and people killed during the Talensi by-elections were Southners. We find the people of Bimbila pulling guns and knives over meat to the overlord. That is just plain stupid. Instead of causing the arrest and trial of people arrested with weapons, the idiot Woyongo is justifying the activities of those involved. Anyway, when there is mayhem, Wayongo can get security or be among the first to leave the country. What my brothers in the North and their family members who have formed gangs, killing each other? How can the North be developed if we have firing of guns at the least provocation? Northners involved in such vigilante groups should reason beyond their noses and realize that they are being used.

Just as the the Mayans of south America killed their leaders and ate their brains so pepeni killed the ideologist of the ndc Atta Mills to sit on his throne, didnt matter that he had no clue of how to build or develop a nation . He then appointed his pepeni and intellectually inferior ministers so no one could challenge him or call him to order, what he desires the most is an authoritarian dictatorship so that's he secured obedience and loyalty at the expense of the constitution and the interests of the people. How many private sector investors have been rejected because they will or cant pay the bribes ? Without private capital govt borrowing only creates debt . He was not able to mobilize our last resource the diaspora to come and invest as when NDC came they made sure most of the business community incurred huge losses through abrogation of contracts , corruption and inflation of the cedi. First we had Kuffour who spent his 8 years of sophisticated corruption that made us loose control of our natural resources such as our gold and oil , then we had anther sorrow of an Ashanti minister of finance Duffuor whose was put there just to satisfy the balance of tribal politics but wrecked the economy by increasing govt borrowing and now advocated for hedging/gambling our oil , i wonder why they didn't first sell the golden stool or at least hedge it for the betterment of all of Ghana, no worries , when the war comes the stool will go for sure . Nkrumah allowed the primitive northerners and ewes to join Ghana in the hope that he could secure himself president for life with a dictatorship , had the USA allowed Mexico and all the other south American states to become part of their country they would never have developed as all that would have been their focus would be to rule even though they are not socially or intellectually ready to develop.Now its clear to all war is around the corner and elections may only turn out to be the spark that will bring about a fierce ethnic conflict leading to the breakup of the country as should have been over 100 years ago.

We would like to know from our political and unprofessional policeman from whom they confiscated those AK-47s, pistols, daggers and the machetes. Instead of shedding light on how far they have gone with the investigations professionally, they're trying to be advocates for the government's twisted and deceitful campaign of trying to make the case look like it was a gang fight between two political vigilante groups in order to blind fold the Ghanaians and cover the government's own tracks. Moreover, we would like to know how far they have gone with the case involving the NDC supporter that was caught with thumb-printed ballot papers and sent to the police station.

These are specific crimes or exhibits that should lead us to the real criminals and the magnitude of the crime facing Ghanaians. In the recent suicide bombing that took place at a mosque in Kuwait, the security officers identified and arrested the owner of the car that took the suicide bomber to the mosque followed by the driver. From there, the investigations led to the masterminds and accomplishes of the heinous crime. Why can't our security forces investigate the leads or exhibits that would lead us to the bigger picture, rather than gloss over them as if they confiscated the arms from the air? Our security forces, like the government, are trying to generalize the issue so that they could bury the truth between Azorka boys and Bolga Bulldogs in order to blind fold Ghanaians and cover the government own tracks. Ghanaians deserve better.

Primitive stinking ideology of a dying man with stupid ambition to occupy the space called the “the presidency” shall all end in 2016. He thought it is as easy as peddling cocaine and making use of it in the secret places where he thinks no one will see him.

This man has no conscience or integrity he only fakes his way into everything but least knows what entails to be called a head of state. In broad day light in his party office; officials who were conducting democratic exercise were butchered in his name.

Just as has been his demeanour of keeping silent on all crimes levelled against him from being certificate less, Drug baron, Drug user, and womaniser, son of a traitor, drill ship thievery and his involvement in the release of drug baron from jail only Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo can tell; till now he has made no comment about this heinous act.

His public speeches are out of date and have no connection with current trends of social developments. He is more manual than mechanical. I wonder if he knows how to use computers or modern applications soft wares. Ghana needs to move forward we don’t need a retarded man who has no achievement in life than living on ill gotten booty bequeathed to him by his father. He thinks democracy means insulting and using foul language against your opponent and cause disaffection in society forgetting that there is something called conscience. It seems to me our understanding of the English language is the problemat. The origin of the phrase "Violence begets violence", as a warning against violence can be traced to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. During his arrest when one of his disciples wanted to defend him by drawing his sword to fight, he warned him to put back his sword back in its sheath because, those who live by the sword, die by it.(Matthew 26:52) In other words, Jesus was teaching his disciple to know that, violence will not solve anything but will rather beget more violence that will overwhelm the one who initiated it.
Martin Luther King Jnr expounded on the same thing to make it clear that violence is not the way. This is what he said:
"Hate begets hate; violence begets violence; toughness begets a greater toughness. We must meet the forces of hate with the power of love... Our aim must never be to defeat or humiliate the white man, but to win his friendship and understanding."
“The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy, instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate.
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
"Violence begets violence" is a cautionary statement against the use of violence to solve a problem. It is therefore unfortunate that some people rather understand it to mean a rallying for violence.

Mr. Woyongo is not an ordinary person but a the Interior Minister of the country. 90% of the entire population knows very well that in that part of the country (Northern Region), they have a history of violence of any little provocation. In that view, the Interior Minister - Mr. Woyongo should have beefed up security prior to the by-election.

If he had looked unconcerned for the incident at Talensi to happened, do we let this man be at post and be paid by the tax payer without performing his duties? His comment is outrageous and never to have been uttered by an Interior Minister. He went on to say that those gangs or groups are going to be documented. Is he paving way or advocating for the birth of all sort of groups in the country? Kwobia, let's not blind our eyes to encourage such outrageous comments from such a person holding that sensitive position in the country. In any civilized country, Woyongo would have gone long time. His own party members would have vehemently called for his exit but not in Ghana where we have Goat Mahama as a leader. E&OE.

Making this comment condones violence, which undermines the very cause or interest the nation pays him as a minister to protect.
