Just get rid of the position to avoid all these unnecessary lawsuits,everyday when we get up we go to court to sue government.

My friend if the term of office is for 5 years or 10 years the they have a right to advertise it. If you are also non-performing you hide that and claim victimization.

just cast your mind back to what this nation is going through with persistent power outages[the so-called dumsor], and the long list of high-priced professional engineers on the payroll of the VRA, ECG, GRIDCO and all the minor utility players in between: Is this country getting value for money on the 'obscene' pay cheques and perks the state doles out
every month to these lazy scoundrels?
Have Veterinarians working for MoFA been able to contain the recent outbreak of bird flu disease that is destroying this country weak poultry industry?
The list is endless, and I wish all MDAs, working in concert with the Public Service Commission, would have all future State employees sign 'airtight' performance contracts before being put on any organization`s payroll. Even the Japanese who promoted this notion of job-for-life, have had a change of heart. So Doudo, by all means move on!

All but a relatively small minority of our ignorant Parliamentarians deserve to be sued. If stupidity were a crime, most of them would be serving time in jail anyway.

Someone forgot to tell management staff at government institutions that they are at-will employees. Parliament makes the laws of the nation; new laws can come for as long as they are not in conflict with existing laws. Why then does the demoted director think he has a God-given right to the post? Do voters not recall MP's by voting incumbents out? Secondly if any Tom Dick and Harry should be allowed to file legal action against parliament without legal standing will Ghana's parliament not be forced to spend its time in court defending any frivolous legal action?

It is members of parliament who have immunity, not staff of the parliamentary Service. And even the immunity of members of parliament is limited only to their official business in parliament - they cannot be prosecuted for comments they make on the floor of parliament just as they can also not be arrested while in, on their way to or returning from Parliament. This limited immunity explains why it was possible to prosecute Hon. Dan Abodakpi while he was a serving MP and also prosecuting Hon. Abuga Pele now even though he is a sitting MP.
