The Catholic church cannot wean itself off the gay issue. Do you know what is going on in the Vatican? How many Catholic priests have been implicated in child molestation issue and by that I mean, how many Catholic priests have been exposed having anal sex with the young boys who serve them?

The Pope himself came out sometime ago and said, "Who am I to judge"? He had never openly condemned gays and lesbians as an act against God so, what is this man talking about?

Some of us were never aware such things have been happening until the recent world wide publications. May I humbly suggest to him to stop throwing the stone when he hilmself lives in a glass house. In any case homosexuality will never be tolerated in Ghana and if you are caught in the act you are a dead goat.

The culture of men taking on boys has been part of Rome before Constantine came out with christianity 335 AD and incorporated all the old culture of paganism into it. The people of Rome had nothing to do with this new religion until the emperor tilted it to their demand to bring on board all the filth that surrounded the deity aphrodeisia whose day on 25 December the people of ROME would do all manners of sex orgies from the young up to animals. The aspect of the young boys and old men sexual relationship was incorporated as the altar boys and fathers.
The whole catholic church order is nothing but an order perfectly the same as the old pagan Roman culture where old men have sexual admiration for young boys.
It has nothing to do with celibacy. Africans knew it as the original white priests to Africa practiced it on them. The Africans thought they'd be strong enough NOT to practice it, but some had caught the disease and spread it thru the catholic boarding school systems.

The catholic church which is the originator of christianity, is based on the old male to male sex orgies of the Roman Empire. Go through out Europe and it's NOT uncommon to see statutes of nude male figures both young and old in public places.

It's so sad that the journalists hosting the bishop could not go deeper and ask the right questions about the culture in which Rome brought out christianity.
We became blind thinking it's a religion of god and totally closed our minds to the fact that it was formed and formulated around a culture of rot, decay and deviance.

The Catholic Church sex abuse cases are a series of allegations, investigations, trials and convictions against Catholic Priests, Nuns And members of Catholic Orders against children (boys and girls) as young as 3 years old. The majority of the victims were aged between 11 and 14 years old.

The hierarchy did not report the accusations. They merely transferred priests to other parishes where the abuse sometimes continued. The cases received significant worldwide media and public attention especially in Canada, United States and Ireland. The abuse concerned 3000 Catholic priests, spanning back 50 years.

The Ghana Catholic Bishops knew this but they kept doing exactly what their counterparts were doing around the world and that is keeping it hush,hush and sweeping it under the carpet due to high level of hypocrisy in our culture.
The victims were not counsel and healed therefore releasing them in to the society where they teach other young boys and the perpetrator, the fathers were not prosecuted.
The bishop says they'd recall priests when they found out that they're practicing it. Well,if you found out, then it becomes a crime with a young victim involved. So how did the leadership handled the healing process that the victim got his wholeness back and whether the parents of the victims were notified at any giving time to also help with the healing of their young boys?
The CATHOLIC church has MORE to answer on this.
The bishop can not sanction gay Ghanaian priests and try to counsel them if there was not a crime involving an altar boy or a catholic school-going boy.
The conspiracy of silence has to be investigated, and the catholic bishops have to be forced to speak up on the issue more deeper than the bishop had done.
THERE'S A CAN OF WORMS DEEP IN THE SANCTUARY OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND IT'S ABOUT TIME TO OPEN IT UP ON THE HYPOCRITICAL CATHOLIC CHURCH OF GHANA.

If our boys are not safe in church, then why is the Archbishop making these comments? He should condemn the acts going on in his own backyard first. All priests caught indulging in these acts should be prosecuted and defrocked. Some priests are not allowed to marry and not allowed to use condoms, thus making it a breeding ground for gays and several STDs such as Baabaso and HIV.

On1 May 2015, a 28 year old Catholic Father in the Navarongo committed suicide. Why?

A 28-year-old Catholic priest Reverend Father Sebastian Dery has committed suicide in Navrongo in the Upper East region.

Father Dery was serving the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese of the Catholic Church.

Starr News’ Upper East Regional correspondent Edward Adeti reported Dery, who hanged himself in the Mission House, left a suicide note asking one Emmanuel and his parents for forgiveness.

This is the second time in less than a year that a Reverend father has committed suicide.

One of the devils lies is the "they are not hurting anybody" in a homosexual life. The reality is they are indeed hurting everybody because intrinsically evil act such as homosexuality has social effects and consequences which can be very devastating. It is Pope John Paul II who said "sin cannot be properly understood if it is viewed purely as a private matter since it ultimately affects the entire community and lowers the holiness in it". So let us fight this abomination called homosexuality will the might God has given us for the common good. Why would someone like to have sex through the anus instead of the vagina? It takes only a demonic possession or mental illness to do that.
