We must acknowledge that both Christianity and Islam originated form the same region and are foreign to Africa. Both were used by the Slave Raiders and Masters to weaken any potential resistance from our folks to their access into our area to facilitate the Slave Trade.

But we must be more mindful of is which one serves us all better. And if both are to continue their co-existence in Africa, how are we going to embrace them without letting them decimate our Population with their mutual competition.

I hope our contemporaries and offspring would be able to pin Religion down to where it really belongs and not let it exterminate us or part of us. If we allow the extremists on both sides win, we would be seeing the total annihilation of our kind.

Proxy wars between Christendom and Islam could fought in our backyard for control of our resources. Eventually, the conditions could afford a way for either side or both to eliminate us, while they both claim they are here for our salvation.

We have to think smarter, and insist on our own design to accept both religions. We should not let either unnecessarily interfere with our Politics. That could spell our doom.

No matter how deep our individual faiths in either of the Religions are, the fact remains that they both fulfill the basic expectations of Religion that it "is the opium of the masses". In that sense, we only have to keep both in peaceful co-existence.

Ghana is a country i grew up from and we did not know the difference of your religious background until it is time to pray . The Christian will go to Church and the Muslim will go to Mosque.It was a beautiful and through out my experience travelling i have not seen that else where.But it looks as if currently some ignorance have been breaded into the Ghanaian society who thinks that Ghana belongs to the Christians. Well that is a lie because Ghana belongs to all Ghanaian's, it was never a christian neither it was an Islamic even though Islam came to Ghana before Christianity, which i know some Ghanaian Christians are ignorant about.
The issue here that Ghanaian don't trust Muslims I want to ask not until recently how many Ghanaian Muslims have been jailed when it comes to corruption as compare to the number of Christians? A true Muslim will never laid his or her hands on unlawful wealth. That is the true teachings of Islam.On the issue of Killings, Christianity has witnessed more brutality than Islam and is that the teaching of Jesus or Mohammed? may the peace of Allah be upon them.

Bawumia wishes Ghana economy to collapse. He was forecasting the that the Cedi will hit GHC5.00 by the year end. For his forecast, NPP business men and woman bought into it and bought millions of dollars with the aim of dragging the economy on its feets. His forecast is only on way, UP and UP for the dollar with no possibility of DOWN and DOWN. Now people have lost millions by following his "prophesies". I hope they will never listen to him again. Doom prophet who pray for Ghana to suffer so they can come to power. Wicket politicians masquerading as Muslims and Christians.
