If she trafficked drugs, why is she not prosecuted? If she cannot be prosecuted, she cannot be guilty. It appears it is the state that is criminal for keeping her car illegally.

Why should the state prosecute her? Was she arrested with any drugs , her case was dead on arrival , the was no evidence of her carrying drugs, let use facts ,before we say anything

While there have been abuses by law and drug enforcement agencies in industrialized nations there is no one who can argue drug laws in those nations are toothless; the same cannot be said about the joke of drug laws we have in Ghana.

When can it ever be appropriate to confiscate property in Ghana if one of the nation's major political parties can throw a hero's welcome to a drug pushing ex-convict, have drugs vanish or change chemical composition in police custody and suspects who have lived lives supported by drug money can have the temerity to ask government for their repossessed property back? For as long as Ghana continues to toy with the NDC and NPP Ghana will continue to be a haven for drug dealers even as our girls and women become tools for drug pushers, pimps masquerading as movie and music producers and those using business fronts for illegal activities.

The one thing that holds true anywhere in the world is that people who work and earn an honest wage do not live the lives of those who earn their living by foul means

Until they achieve their independence through legislation we cannot expect them to be neutral and competent in the performance of their jobs.
