  GHANAFEST 2015 was a great cultural event. I cannot stop talking about the presentation by the Ghanaian World renowned master percussionist. OKYEREMA ASANTE. His colorful and unique costume together with his fantastic performance. brought extra color and energy to the event. This is the kind of talent the children of today must be encouraged to study. PEOPLE GO TO SA TO SEE THE JAZZ MUSIC FESTIVAL. PEOPLE GO TO BRAZIL FOR THE CARNIVALS. WHAT DO WE WANT PEOPLE TO COME TO GHANA AND SEE? WE LACK VISION AND OF COURSE STRATEGY. HUGE SUMS OF MONEY BLOWN AWAY. WE CAN USE THIS EVENT TO INVITE THE FOREIGNERS TO COME TO GHANA NEXT SUMMER FOR A MEGA CULTURAL EVENT. THIS IS WHAT WE NEED.

  Ghanaians must guess how much we loosing from the tax payers money.
  With technology we don't have to let them know what we have.
  Its common sense that Ghana has to up grade the way they think.

  To the likes of Dr. Harding. Yes all employees have to be protected on the job. Any employee who is injured on the job must be compensated. Dr Harding should fight for Workmen's Compensation for all employees of government hospitals to cater for the needs of all those that get injured while on duty. That is what happens in civilized country. No group of employees should get allowance for any anticipated injury. Such unforeseen injuries are insured for. Such insurance will cover not only the medical doctors but the ordinary minimum wage earners like cleaners and laundery crew.
  
  To Dr. Titus, it is unfortunate that the persons who can most afford to pay their hospital bills are exempted. Ultimately, it the trotro driver or the coconut seller who can least afford to foot bill and has no clout who is pressurized to pay. Dr. Titus, it immoral. Rather fight that all Ghanaians irrespective of status should pay hospital bills. Why should politicians and medical doctors receive free medical care and Kaya Yei should not. It morally repulsive to say the least.

  Nonsense! We have been doing this for hundreds of years and have seen no progress. The old traditions are the reasons why we are unable to contribute to human progress. We only come to the table when the food is ready.
