  Give me a break all these bogus statistics which they cannot prove are all ways to get more funding to pocket,we always exaggerate to get money into our pockets but not use it for what it is meant for.

  These striker doctors should be ashamed of themselves. If a child dies every 15 minutes in Ghana, then the question one would is " are Ghanian doctors really qualified doctors? yet they (doctors)want more money from the state.
  These doctors aer aware of the conditions of service for doctors before they accepted appointment letters from the state, why are they now embarking on unnecessary strike? God will surely save ghanaians. A BIG SHAME UNTO THE STRIKING DOCTORS.

  The statement that "Even though child health is a Government priority..." is laughable to say the least. Our country has failed in every aspect of its temporal life - there is nothing under the sun we do well, yet we are always first in self adulation and self aggrandizement.
  
  The cedi is faltering so badly against other African and World currencies. Infant mortality (which they claim as government priority) is at 30,000 annually, Ghana ranks at 141 place in World Bank ranking in Life Expectancy. We rank as the 7th filthiest country on earth - our capital stinks and there is filth everywhere. The economy is a mess, always in stupor, yet we have people who are paid fat salaries to look after it.
  
  Was Dr. Nkrumah right when he proclaimed to the world that the black man is ready to manage his own affairs as failure stares us right in the face?

  If 90 babies die daily then annually is 32850 and not 30,000. Perhaps the additional 2,850 amazingly return to life. This is official statistics! God save our homeland Ghana
