WHEN THE PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF THE GOVERNMENT THERE IS TYRANNY,BUT WHEN THE GOVERNMENT IS AFRAID OF THE PEOPLE THERE IS FREEDOM. Right from the time of the PNDC/NDC era through NPP and back to NDC governance Ghana has been through the hands of try and error politicians .

The systems and mechanisms required to run a smooth government and to develop a nation has eluded them. All they care abut is their belly and being worshipped and served by the poor masses.

12 years of my time in UK I never witness the sort of aggression that engulfs our political processes during an elections. Politics is takes the form of a football club so no matter how an election is worn or who won it doesn't matter because ones party is in power.

One forgets that every decision that is made be it negative or positive will affect each citizen irrespective of your political affiliation.This is why it is important to vote on issues than fanatically supporting a party trivially. If President Mahama can fix the economy its good for mother Ghana if somebody else is capable of doing it better then for the betterment of Ghana that person must be brought in to do the job. Whether NDC or NPP no matter what the situation will be there will be corruption here and there but we can only hope that they work as well.
