These doctors just take delight in holding the country to ransom for whatever reason. The ministries are established by parliament. The rules are approved by parliament. The terms of employment of civil servants are determined and approved by parliament. So why this long drawn out hullabaloo. The doctors accepted their postings based on the conditions in their appointment letters.
But now what do we see? Callously leaving patients to die. Of course they have their private practices so they can take care of their mothers and loved ones. But what about us mmobrowafuo on whose back and toil they were seen through school? Most of these guys would be no where but for CMB scholarships. Today they are turning their backs on the very farmers and fishermen who supported them. SHAME ON YOU DOCTORS.

When it was time to increase the salaries of ministers etc, was there any feet dragging so why can't the government act in good faith to stop the strike knowing the consequences that come with it?

When people go to the poll and elect an irresponsible government, these are some of the hell hole they go through.

I leave with you a little assignment did you read those junior Doctors who were not paid for 11months?Tell me something should they not complain?You work and you are expose to several health hazard you bring on board several years of expertise stay up longer hours in the theatre emergency period you are called up and you think it should be for free?
They accepted their posting based on the condition in their appointment letters?do you understand condition of service?those politicians gallivanting the corridors of powers in Ghana what special expertise are they bringing on board?
Are you not even surprise look at the spate of strike actions going on in the country if you pay taxes do you think your taxes are being effectively utilized to bring the benefit of good governance to the doorstep of every Ghanaian?Yes they will be nowhere but whilst there were burning the midnight oil you were at a party pchilling and you talk about CMB scholarship Mr yesterday man for who?is the CMB scholarship in existence?
Do you know how much it cost to train a single Medical officer?those who are being trained outside ask your Goverment how much it cost to train one person and you think they are on CMB scholarship you think they are being sponsored by goverment?Are their parent not squessing water from stone to train them for them to return to serve and you don't even pay them for 11long month?every Ghanaian deserve a good shot at the national cake teachers farmers doctors unemployed school children what is good for the goose is equally good for the gander.so until people like you learn to know that the goverment does nobody a favor and I repeat does nobody a favour the constitution of Ghana spells out in black and white issues about governance and I dare say am not that old on this planet earth but this has been the worst government I have ever seen you may disagree with me yes....So until the Goverment learn to take out propaganda and stop believing that it can do anything anyhow patients in your own words will callously dies remember when they are sick they may travel to South Africa India or come over here to seek treatment what about you my dear friend?so continue to toil as you say and think that once somebody get access to the castle he becomes a Demi a God whose actions are not to be questioned and can do anything anyhow and retire comfortably. we are not in a class society and let the government know that it owns a responsibility to all Ghanaians not party members or family members,again it's the people if Ghana who is vested wth the executive powers being exercised by the government that is why the constitution of Ghana state by saying we the people of Ghana...

If you think strikes are not necessary in Ghana, think again. That is the only language this incompetent government understands. And by the way, what prevented you from enjoying CMB scholarship to become a doctor too? I hate strikes in the health sector but it appears that is the only thing this government understands. After all, they would use our money to seek treatment abroad so they don't care. They forget that even PV Obeng needed help, it was too late to fly him outside at our expense.
