In this 21st century, it is only in Africa that we see a president trying to clean gutters. Tweakai, where is wrong with us? When fools are at the helm of affairs, chaos become the order of the day.

Voluntary participation in cleanup exercise is not compulsory and the CEO should be left alone.

The Chiefs and the officials there may have lost their minds to wait for a so called sanitation day to clean their gutter they knew was chocked.

This system where chiefs have authority to summon people and impose sanctions on people is in total conflict with the principles of democracy. Until the time comes that all chiefs understand that they are just symbolic rulers and are not law enforcers, this country will remain backward. If chiefs can summon people by force, then what is the use of the courts?

The Chiefs should be inviting those who have failed their responsibility to ensure we have clean environment as contracted and paid by the tax payer.

We should not use such nonsense of time wasting to victimize our citizens as there is no any law binding any one to partake to the cleaning nonsense, whilst the district assemblies and their paid staff sit to enjoy their criminally gotten wealth without shame of making Ghana the 7th filthiest country in the world.
