We also added yesterday that if all psychological matters are to be referred to the hospital, then learning is also a psychological matter. From your understanding of psychology, then pupil and students will be send to the psychiatric hospital to learn rather than schools.
In 1969 a man use a broken bottle to cut the throat of a man who bleed to death. The act happen right before the eyes of the man's family, with the youngest child just one year old. The murderers allegation was that the murdered person was holding the hand of a married woman to which he replied that it was rather the woman who was holding her. The murderer rush into his room took a bottle broke it and cut the throat of he man with the husband of the woman also watching.
When he was arrested he fringed insanity and was send to the psychiatric hospital from where he escaped.
You referred to a matter under British jurisdiction, but forget cunningly to write that there are cases in which people fringed sanity, but were latter found sane. There was a British national who murdered someone and fringed insanity that even needles were put through his body to see if he fills pain and even that proved negative. In the long run after a few years in detention he was found to be of sound mind. Mr. Akwasi Osei I am of the view that just like the case I narrated above it takes not a day, weeks and months to examine a murderer who pretends that he is mad.
Akwasi Osei let us all be professionals in our aspect of human endeavour and put our tribal affiliations aside when performing our professional duties. You have taken a sort of path in this matter so are you sure that the man in question be referred to you and those of your colleagues who have already not acted professionally.
Unfortunately to your understanding any person who confess his crime is a lunatic. But daily our courts witness scores of confession by suspects.

These are the things we do and Ghana is coming ungovernable. This is a man who has been spotted with a gun trying to assassinate the president. And here we are, seeing people from all over trying to defend such a person in the name of sanity and abuse of human rights. You see, people regard Ghana as a village and at the slightest occurrence, they try to make themselves somewhat popular by opening their mouths at any length to say things that are baseless. In this issue, whether the man is sane or insane, he needs to be punished. Insanity and he knows the president?. Knows his church?. How many people has he killed in his house ?. His neighbourhood?. Is killing the hobby or skill of his madness?. Lets not forget, madness is "hobby based".
Somebody says he proposed love and offered 2 cedis as "chop money”. So whats strange or absurd about that?. Sane people do worser things. So what are we talking about here.
You see, we often leave the rude ones in our homes to misbehave beyond limits thereby underminding the peace and integrity of our being as humans. And when the law takes its course, whether bent or not, then we want to cry foul about it.

Lets be very mindful, because it is the future of Ghana we are destroying.

Lets not think that it was John MAHAMA he wanted to kill, but the president of Ghana.

It is the highest seat of the land and if anybody dares with it, deserves no mercy. It is greater than just one mind or person to manipulate.

As to whether John MAHAMA behaves amd performs well as a president is another issue that should not be tied to the entire dignity of our first office.

Let no Ghanaian sit on your little corner or community, make your mushroom analysis, and jump into your self styled madness and expect the law to smile at you.

The economy is hard, yet we have people who dig and crack stones to sell, and seemingly, they are surviving.

LETS ALL CHANGE, WORK MORE HARDER AND BEHAVE WELL AND GHANA WILL BE A BETTER PLACE.

Wake up people, this is not an ordinary madness or one of Jason's movies, This is an assassination attempt on the president of the republic of Ghana. Thank God the mad man didn't succeed, if he had succeeded we wouldn't have been discussing and making fun out of it. We would have seen real madness across Ghana, but Allah loves Ghana, so that didn't happen. For me whether he is mad or not, that is not the issue. The guy is dangerous and should be in detention, either in a jail or a psychiatric centre.
