I do not think much of this minister given his performance so far, but, I have to agree with him on this point. The private sector want to eat their cake & still have it. Mr Donkor, you're right, business is risk-taking.
This is a good step ahead, most of these people are just speculators who need the GCSA to obtain loans for the project or find a loophole in the agreements to file for judgement debts. Thumbs up honourable!!
Yes, there are bogus ones amongst the bunch doing their ultimate best to stiffing the government out of the meager public purse and they are the ones that shout the loudest down there.
This Minister needs to be Educated on reforms needed to solve the electricity problem, he should seek help from the German Government
most of ECG's debt are from the government MDAs. ECG is sole distributer of electricity in Ghana and it is 100% govt owned. I don't see how govt can run away fro ECG problems when they are the chief causer of ECG's problems.
Mr. Minister you are aware the ministries and other government department are owing ECG. Being a minister does not mean you should shy away from the truth. Guarantees are important and very CRUTIAL in this case because of ECG ...
