The single spine salary system was not for salary increases. These same doctors pushed and pushed and in order to save lives the government gave in. Now of course we have a high wage bill, and the cedi is sliding. There are IMF conditionalities that the goverment must hold to otherwise there will be problems. They cannot have it both ways. If the government needs to hold firm and put the economy back on track, they need to also back off. We're tired of them thinking they are the only ones suffering in Ghana.

NPP knew the doctors will call off their strike after their meeting with the government and some dissenting doctors have exposed Dr. Serebour.

When people study specific courses leading to professional qualifications ,they are known as such for example plumbers, carpenters, teachers,nlawyers doctors etc. The sad trend of anybody with or without twisted minds call themselves politicians and therefore stay into political administration and ma'na'gement of our country is deeply a regrettable phenomenon. In politically matured and civilized jurisdictions politicians are not just men of academic and intelligence straw ,these are people with commonsense ,sound judgement ,integrity and professional acumen. These ate serious minded citizens who invest their time and energy in the work they do, undertaking credible research to inform their judgement and pronouncements. They are not hangers-on , riff-raffs or remnants of commonsense ,wisdom and intelligence. Instead of craving to be called honourables of which l do not knoiw why, because in Westminster in the UK , where we have copied modern day politics from , this nonsensene does not feature. Our so called politicians should and must not only continue to be self-styled But must dig deep in acquiring the rudiments and basic elements of politics and public administration. I wonder how many of these guys have any insight into the ingredients of political science , yet hold themselves up as politicians ? Phew
