This is not news any more. It's now a fact that there is somebody within the NPP leadership criminally in bed with the NDC party, and Kufour himself has endorsed and accepted that fact. There is an NDC hired spy implanted in the NPP leadership to destroy the party's fortunes in the 2016 elections, and that must be investigated thoroughly and the perpetrators punished to set another milestone for our democratic dispensation. This is the mother and father of all electoral malpractices that led to the removal of Nixon from the White House, and NPP should not sit idle by while some unscrupulous hired agents destroy the democratic will of the people of Ghana to choose their leaders freely and democratically.

Contrary to what the discredited former EC Chairman said, this is another example of how elections are rigged far away from the polling stations. Ghanaians must wake up because NDC is again trying to rig the elections through the old corrupted voters register too.

It is as necessary as Asiedu Nketiah's transition which was witnessed in Germany.
Ghanaians are saying we must have a new, credible, voters register to ensure free, transparent, clean, fair and credible elections in this country.
The bloated, discredited Afari-Gyan voters register must find it's way out of our electoral processes and procedures now.
Ghana must have that new, credible register in a timeous manner for the upcoming 2016 elections and for future elections in this country.
And whilst at it, the BVR machines should not be rigged to compensate for the new register.
An antidote would also have to be found for the increasing number of spoilt and rejected ballots at the polling stations during counting of the ballot papers.
Ghana has gone through 6 electoral cycles and we cannot have a situation where spoilt ballots keeps increasing with continuous voter education.
That rigged process of the creation of spoilt ballots must be dealt a very severe head-cutting blow at once.
Ghana must have the new, credible voters register now.

Asiedu Nketia is not afraid of anything. He is just been more reasonable than most. NPP is just making the demands without any idea how it must be funded. NDC been the government in power must consider cost and how it will be funded. Besides, a new register with unreliable biometric system will not help anyway. So the NDC thinks the biometric system rather need to be improved to make it difficult for double voting by anyone while efforts is make to expunge dead people from the register. We must note that the EC is independent and only listen to all of us to inform their decisions. So far the EC thinks NDC's suggestion is more tenable than that of the NPP.
All the political parties have the right to study the voters register and identify names that they believe should be removed and recommend same to the EC. You cannot just get up and say you need a new register and expect the EC to oblige without a convincing argument as to why.

Many non citizens from neighbouring countries were registered to join NHIS and they used the NHIS card as identification to register to vote in Ghana's elections. In addition are non citizens in Ghana who did the same thing. That is why 56% of Ghana's population are registered to vote. That is not posible in a developing country like Ghana where children under 18 make more than 50% of the population. The NDC planned this to win 2012 elections. The NDC is scared bcos doing it again will clean the register.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the use of NHIS card to register to vote is uncontitutional. The point is there are people out there who are not Ghanaians but have registered with NHIS cards to vote in Ghana's elections. The only way to prevent them from voting is registering Ghanaians again.
