  This so called ECOWAS nonsense that was forced on the military coupists in the seventies so that Africans could forget about Nkrumah's prescription of the political unification of Africa is what shows the true colours of our so called leaders as mere stooges and puppets of their neo-colonialist masters. The Africa taxpayer's money is being used to sponsor these quislings to wine and dine. Since when did they start telling us all this nonsense: Ecowas passport, Ecowas railway and highways, Ecowas this, Ecowas that...
  Let me tell you, we have been hearing this since day one of the establishment of this bogus "disorganization" and they think they can still continue fooling people. Not when Gambia or Togo will come in to veto all their decisions.
  Engagement in all this nonsense is what is hindering our so called leaders from learning and planning what is good for the people.
  This Ecowas must be dissolved with immediate effect. It does not even fit to be called a regional body even though reoginalism is not we are seeking for but rather continental unity and planning.
  The way I see things, the 2016 elections in Ghana will have no clear winner because all we are heading for is a default party and leader. I pray that Ghanaians do not get fooled by any party or leader to get violent in the sure to come stalemate. Let the corrupt politicians fight themselves in the Parliament for true Nkrumaists will eventually take over when they have outdone themselves with their corruption and lack of vision.
  Ghana and Africa do not lack genuine and selfless leaders except that traitors have had the upper hand since 24th. February, 1866. Eventually, painful as it has been for Africans, they are coming to the end of their rope.

  Ecowas single currency by 2020 in a matter 4-5 years? And presumably an Ecowas central bank, are we mad? Most of our governments and institutions can't organise the proverbial piss-up in a small brewery and yet we are planning to bring a total Ecowas population of 335million and institutions to order, all signed up to a by and large single economic policy. Hope someone is paying attention to the crisis in the Eurozone. By the way, I wonder which of the current country specific central banks will take on the role of the Bundesbank with deep pockets as in the Eurozone?
