It is good we are all looking at the various causes of the failure or non functioning of the state , we say its a failed state because it does not benefit the people in any way. The compromises made in the constitution totally erased any true obligation for public officials /civil servants to work for the welfare of the people . Rather they created privileged , untouchable , can do no wrong , non accountable groups that like vampires suck the people dry . We now have whole groups that are practically above the law . Laws are meant to oppress all those who are unlucky enough to have their tribe , ethnic group or relatives not affiliated to the ruling tribe or elite. We have developed a system of governance worse than than the Indian castes or monarchy of the middle ages as no development can ever succeed that doesn't tap all the potential of the whole nation. Whole groups based on ethnic backgrounds are excluded this was started by Achampong who appointed his Ashantis , continued by JJ who had a preference for Ewes and now Mahama who only trusts his relatives and northerners . In all fairness the we can not blame the ordinary northerners and ewes who have taken advantage of this mess did so because the bogus constitution allows it. This constitution encourages elitism ,nepotism, ethnocentrism , hegemony and a privileged corrupt class of civil servants . There is no partisan politics only tribal affiliations which facilitate enmity . There can never be national unity so we Akans opt to secede since we now have the numbers and population to create a sustainable state . In the late 40's and 50's the population of Ghana was around 5 million today just the Fanti speakers of the western and central regions are more than 5 million which is more than enough to create a new state , Africa can only unite , develop and be free when these imperialistic colonial borders are broken. We all know the political arena is polarized based on ethnic divides rather than political ideology and all sides have deeply dug their trenches and can not afford to loose which is a ripe situation for political violence which will lead to ethnic war . Any war started on this principle if it lasts longer than a month will automatically lead to the break down and secession of the various nations or tribes as the white man would classify. Let us not focus our energies on the hatrad of our enemies rather diligently prepare to create our own nation out of this mess. The blue print for creation of new nations and the obligations are in the Bible and a any nation ignoring this requirement given by God will suffer. God gives you a language and territory its up to you to fight with blood for freedom , long live the republic of Akan

Some have been known not to be Muslims hence the decision. Modern Muslims don't wear hijab but fully follow the strict rules of their religion. In South Africa gay marriage is even allowed, this is not even the case in very tolerant countries such as Germany, where homosexuals can only register their partnership, but not marry. Before pointing fingers at others, african countries should pass laws against homosexuality. Even the ghanaian law only criminalizes homosexuality between males but not females.

And its never true, that making a negative remark on gay marriage can land you in court? But many european politicians accept homosexuality but not gay marriage, have never seen any of them in court? European laws such as in germany are very generous. Even if you are charged with life imprisonment it means serving not longer than 25 years.A prisoner sentenced to life imprisonment normally may apply for parole after having served 15 years. If the parole court rejects the application, the inmate may reapply after a court determined blocking period no longer than two years. Even for rape or robbery people will be released after serving less than 5 years. Some do not even have to go to prison at all. You can even further up education in prison and work in order to earn money.

These countries have never been democratic! Most european citizen did not want the european currency, yet they were not asked. In most decisions they are not asked, they have no power.

March 25, 2014: Dutch PhD student Jerke de Vries inserted a clause into his doctoral thesis in which he gave thanks to God. At the Wageningen University, religious statements are not allowed in theses unless they are the subject of research. Although De Vries’ thesis advisor was not so strict, the doctoral committee would not allow his thesis to pass unless he removed the phrase, leaving de Vries to cut out the page from over a hundred copies of his thesis which had already been printed.

But the office was only a pale reflection of the upheaval into which this tradition-rich state has been thrown by a court decision that many Bavarians consider sacrilegious and hateful.

Germany's highest court decided this month that the Bavarian law requiring a crucifix to be hung in each of the state's 40,000 classrooms was unconstitutional.

"Because attending school is a general obligation, crosses in classrooms mean that the state confronts pupils with this symbol during their lessons, leaving them no alternative to learning 'under the cross".

Educational policy in Germany, like most domestic policy, is shaped principally by the states. Bavaria, which with 11 million inhabitants is Germany's second most populous state, is the only one that requires religious symbols in classrooms. Other states ban them.

Not only must you do away with the presidential chair, which is adorned with Adinkra symbols or the Afena sword, which the president uses to be sworn in. But if Ghana wants to be a christian state then it must do away with his entire system of governance and replace it by a christian theocracy. In fact civil rightmwas not an issue, it was just general understanding of the people. Why do you want me to give reverence to the Pope, I do not recognised as a spiritual leader. Moreover, we were not inmschool because of God. Thinks of God cannot be instituted nationally, but family wise, because of believes systems. Parents determine where they want theirmchildren to be, until they are old enough to make their own choices. Neither, the government can determine believes system. In the old testament, the Creator God tried that on men in various periods to have drifters all the time.The savior of life was intended to do that on the Jews, and they did not heed, so it become an individual decision, perhaps linking to families. Which makes SALVATION a priority madate in the bible of good news for the new testament. This is not to exclude the old testament, since the new gets it root from the old to make proper sense of the whole bible. The defiances of the old give lessons of blessings to the new for clear picture of the heavens wisdom. This is not miracle or prophetic, but understandings of all the bible.Thank my Lord Jesus Christ for giving me such understandings in your heavenly places. Amen.

I have been in some situation of inappropriate place with a girl and controlled myself, even if the girl wanted sex.The girl thinks you are weak not being cool at that time. This is an age old problems for muslim students in mission schools as well as other non-muslim schools where the authorities feel everybody should attend church service as part of school functions. Remember the prophet said who ever is not bothered with the affairs of muslims is not one of them. If the so-called tink thank director as a muslim does not know this problem then he has a serious problem. The fact that muslims endured this for longctime does not make it right.
Almost every non-muslim school I know from primary to secondary has this imposition on muslims.
Did mustapha convert to islam after secondary school? This guy needs historical trek to his school days islam and make amends. May Allah swt save us from such muslims if they should become leaders.
