I believe critical thinking concept is very dangerous. That is the affectionate level of the Bloom taxonomy. You cannot get there without knowing and understanding the subject matter.

For instance if you don't know the anatomy of the heart and know how it works, how can you think out if there is a problem.

You do not hear of leaked papers in any other country besides Ghana and Nigeria.

A paper could be cancelled if it leaks out of the waec offices or if there is absolutely poor supervision experienced in the exams halls among others. The very people who cause this leakage are the waec officials who sit in their offices and take bribe from students handing them the papers because there is no way students can get into their vault without being caught. some of them give the papers to their children or if they they can't have access the papers, they are able to tell them the question supposed to come and a whole lot of things to add to that. The problem must be tackled from the top rather than destroying the lives and future of the innocents who have no knowledge of these paper leakage.

Exams question papers are supposed to be Safe and well Secured before the "D"day.For how many years had Results of Candidates, Continued to be Cancelled ,without any plans in place to retake the Test Within 2 Weeks,in 98 percent of Cases(statistics mine)and its the same Stories each year,over the years. Are these WAEC morons aware that, those Exams Cancelling is the End of the Academic ladder of a good number of Children,considering the hardships most Parents go through to payed School and Final Exams Fees,and therefore,Endangered the Welfare of the Children (Students) involved,etc "Article of no use, Officials".

I fully endorse the actions of the West African Examinations Council to cancel the results that are deemed to be as a result of malpractices. We as citizens must accept to be responsible in doing the right things to move forward our personal lives and the country at large. We intend to be angels but not. How can school authorities make "apor" an institutionalized practice by taking money formally from students to assist them negatively to pass exams. What happened to the 3-4 years training. Let us all support in cleaning the mess. Thumbs up WAEC

It is time WAEC strategies for such things. People working there, should sit up not to be taken by time. Some of us saw this coming and have been talking about it. I am not surprise!!! WAEC should have known already that we are in modern world when communication is no longer by only transport or telegram. Government should plant secret agents at WAEC itself and the rots will be out.

I am appealing to fellow teachers who teach their students during external exams to desist from such act because it doesn't help them upon getting admission to tertiary level.

The universities for the teacher should be vigorous in selection for the good academic, serious and hard working candidates for the teaching profession. We do not need teachers who do not prepare the students for the examinations but depend on leakages to make money and destroy the future of the students.
