Some of us do not have the means to effectively deal with these thieves. You do, so use the power of your profession well to help us expose and rid this country of those shameless imbeciles and crooks who are bent on completely destroying our once proud country. Look all around us. Everything is falling and crumbling into bits.

After being oppressed with endless scandalous episodes of corruption, incompetence and the subsequent deprivation and searing poverty, many Ghanaians have lost their sense of bearing, common-sense, shame and the ability to decipher right from wrong. Many Ghanaians are not even aware that the govt does not give a hoot whether doctors go on strike or not. They are also not even aware that these stinking politicians who pay them peanuts, use their taxes to seek extremely expensive medical care abroad. many Ghanaians are not aware that we are all suffering double jeopardy under the weight of this thieving oligarchy.

At this stage of the imminent and total destruction of the economy, many Ghanaians have either become helpless or content to also partake in the looting of the states resources, or for survivals sake, they contrive to support the 'capo di tutti capi' so that at the end of the day, they may also enjoy from the crumbs that fall off the table of the brigands.

I can assure you that as painful and as difficult as it is, the task you have undertaken is a historic one and come what may, history will absolve you and you will all emerge proud and victorious against the forces of evil.

Many years and decades from today, our great-grandchildren will be taught in school that at a terrible period in our history when all seemed to be lost and the valour and mettle of men turned into rubber, it was medical doctors who took on the struggle to bring sanity and order back into the public domain.

If they really cared about us they would have gone to the negotiation table to find an amicable solution to that. If they had started the negotiation since 2013 or perhaps when they serve their last notice in may this could have been avoided. And the best they can do is to politicize it, hypocrites.

Having said this,they also deserve and have every right to respond in equal measure if not above, if anyone tries to insult them. Insulting them will not and cannot force them to back off their demands.
Reasonable people should appeal to their conscience instead of insulting them.
The fact that we seems to regard their profession as a noble one does not mean they cannot "misbehave" the same way as we treat them with our insults.

How can public sector workers who constitute just about 2% of the 25ml population consume more than 60% of the total tax revenue? Look at the demand from doctors, nurses and general health workers?
Are they being fair to the rest of Ghanaians? If this trend is not reversed, we will suffer d same fate as #Greece where they borrow money to pay workers. We are all #Ghanaians and I believe no Ghanaian is more important than d other #farmer who produces cassava, maize, tomatoes etc to feed us is as important as d doctor who attend to us when we are sick. My experience of student doctors whilst in Legon is a clear one and I know that a good percentage of medical students were as inconsiderate, less thoughtful and more partisan in approach to political issues than students of other disciplines. So, don’t think that doctors are any wiser than the rest of Ghanaians. They can be as aggressive, confrontational and as foolish as everybody else.

The typical Ghanaian doctor is self centred and as ignorant as the dictatorial village chief. This underlines the high death rates we experience in Ghanaian hospitals. They never listen to their patients so how can they listen to the government?

Ghanaians like too much power and as long as they refuse to learn the good things about the western world, and choose to pick bad habits, we will continue to autocratic and foolish whether in medicine or politics.

The gov't is spending huge sums of money on these so-called communicators while doctors are in need of their constitutional-approved conditions of service. GOD save my motherland Ghana.

Both government and doctors are behaving like married couples set to destroy each other. Who suffer ? Their children and immediate family !
