  People are dying and you take the F--- OFF stand. I feel sorry for the entire nation. It is understandable your government has mismanaged and drained the country's financial resources. You should not be ashamed to go and talk to the doctors.

  I beg to differ that the old docs can fill the gap if GMA members resign en mass. We are talking of over 2000 docs here; how many retired docs are in the system? Besides, some retired docs like Dr Sory are not clinicians i.e they have not cared for patients - they are public health professionals. Also remember that the so called retired docs toiled all their working years under the current sordid conditions that the current generation seeks to improve . I know of docs who retired and have regrets for sacrificing so much for Mother Ghana working in the public sector - Retirement package almost non-existent! . I guess those retired docs willing to chip in are those who held public health positions ( very little clinical knowledge) and who enriched themselves whilst in office. Those retired clinicians I know WILL NOT make that mistake again working in the public sector!

  IT SEEMS SOME PEOPLE JUST CANNOT THINK. THESE RETIRED DOCTORS WITH FADED KNOWLEDGE AND NO STRENGTH. WHAT CAN THEY DO TO HELP. DOCTORS CANNOT PAY THEIR RENT OR CHILDREN'S SCHOOL FEES WITH THEIR NAME DOCTOR. THEY HAVE TO BE PAI ...

THIS GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN ABUSING MONEY AND RESOURCES LIKE CRAZY. ITS NOT DOCTORS FAULT. ITS ALL THE THE GOVERNMENT. THESE RETIRED DOCTORS SHOULD KEEP QUITE AND STAY RETIRED.

  Doctors are being paid their salaries and allowances now. What they are striking for is their conditions of services. They Have Been Without it for centuries But They want It now from this government. It sounds something.
