  What are the benchmarks for calling one poor to qualify for this these handout? You cannot pay your employers...teachers, Drs. etc. but you have money to give handouts to people who have not knocked on Govt doors for any food. Has anyone ever died of hunger in Ghana? These rural folks are better of with better policies and political will in the right direction than this temporary measures. Oye Lithur has nothing to offer than to embark on this. How does she account for who gets what and how much is spent...its just syphoning monies through her office under the guise of LEAP. If govt means business and if Oye, you are really in support of Govt benevolence, where is school feeding program? What is the state of NHIS? Are these not more important for the poor than this? Hypocrites, all what you are doing is syphoning state funds and trying to woo people for votes in 2016.

  Remember the programme should work in all ten Regions. Not only Northern regions.
