  Well done Mr Judge but we are still waiting for the prosecution and sentence of Techimanhene and his gang that stripped Tuabodomhene naked and beat him. We are also waiting for the prosecution of the NDC official who poured acid on NPP member and deformed him. Otherwise the selective justice imposed on Ghanaians by P/NDC will appear to be condoned by Judges and this will be resisted by the people in due course.

  I can smell rat here. Beating up associates of the wife of NDC-appointed Supreme Court judge. Obviously Mrs Apau was appointed to her new position as a queen after her husband was promoted to the Supreme Court by NDC. It didn't matter that there was already a substantive queenmother on the throne. This is a political appointment and the start of a vicious cycle which will continue after NDC leaves power. There is too much political interference in the chieftaincy affairs in this country, hence the constant unrests found in so many places. The other day it was Tuobodom, now it is Wenchi.

  You are right my brother the case has been dismissed after finding out the judge was corrupted by the apua's and the judge has been suspended am even suprised Ghana Web didn't report on this

  These acts of lawlessness in our Chieftaincy must stop. They are increasingly diminishing the Public's respect for our Chiefs, and eventually could lead to the massive advocacy to abolish the Traditional Authority System entirely.
  
  In this day and age, no one would simply sit by to let any Chief trample on his or her personal rights. Being a Chief is supposed to be a leadership in service to the People, not a call to lead a brutal local dictatorship. Our monarchical System is steadily losing its relevance and dignity with such inhuman treatment of its subjects.
  
  Our Houses of Chiefs, Regional and National, must be cognizant of this new reality of Public disapproval of any undue absolutism and injudicious imposition and subjugation of the People, and immediately begin to draw sensible guidelines as to how their Members attend to issues in their various Jurisdictions.
  
  Meanwhile, the Krontihene and the Krontihemaa of Wenchi stand to be disqualified from retaining their status after serving their jail terms, since their actions are deemed felonious.
  
  All they had to do was to go to the Courts, or present their case to the House of Chiefs for redress. They had no authority to assault the victims.
