Madam, we are witnesses to the Supreme Court case. The EC chair, Dr Afari Gyan could not explain himself when he was asked to produce the hard copy of the register of Foreign Office staff he claimed the EC registered. Further, there were many double registration with the register he himself produced. Considering the figure Dr Afari Gyan gave and those he could confirmed, clearly indicated how bloated the entire Voters Register is. Again, voters who voted for President Mahama as compared with his total MPs leaves so much to be desired. It is amply long over due, please.

EC beware,if you do not have a better modality as to how to register and check child registration then you are rather going in for trouble as political parties would be trying to register minors.The political parties should come out with an agreeable yardstick as to how to and who can register,how to all agreeing to avoid using minors or else EC is going to open a kind of worms that it would find it hard to handle.Who registers and how? how to check the political parties, there must be an agreed and non conformers must be dealt with,then that we know that there is a clean register.

What measures shd the EC put in place, such that those pple (who supposedly make the register blotted) will not register AGAIN during the new registration process. Lets remember they still possess the current voter ID card to claim they are Ghanaians. What about the minors. The challenge forms were available during 2012 biometric registration but minors still find their way into the voter register, so what is the new way to go. Either than that the story will remain the same.
